"ABOUT 5 P.M. ONE DAY, AFTER DOING SEVERAL LOADS OF WASH, I SUDDENLY HAD WATER SPILLING OUT FROM THE DRAIN LINE, AND MY TOILET ALMOST OVERFLOWED. AFTER SEVERAL CALLS TO OTHER PLUMBERS WHO SAID THEY COULDN'T COME FOR DAYS, I CALLED ROTO ROOTER AND THEY WERE THERE WITHIN AN HOUR. BY THIS TIME IT WAS DARK, BUT THE SERVICEMAN COMPLETED THE WORK ANYWAY, TAKING OVER AN HOUR TO BE SURE THE DRAIN LINE WAS COMPLETELY CLEARED. TREE ROOTS WERE THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. BECAUSE THE TOP OF THE ACCESS TO THE DRAIN HAD RUSTED SHUT, SERVICEMAN HAD TO SAW IT OFF TO GAIN ACCESS, BUT HE ACCEPTED THAT AS BEING PART OF THE JOB. HE WAS VERY COURTEOUS, AND EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHY I HAD THE PROBLEM. IT TURNS OUT MY STREET IS NOTORIOUS FOR TREE ROOT BLOCKAGE IN THE DRAIN LINES, SO HE WAS VERY SURPRISED I HAD NEVER HAD PROBLEMS BEFORE! I HAVE HAD NO TROUBLE SINCE."
