May 1st, via Invoice 159573769, David completed the repair and replacement of my Hall bathroom's Tub/Shower handles with installation of Gerber extension kit picked up from Hydrologic; David also picked up new sleeves and after discussions with Bucks staff, cut extensions and chrome sleeves to size, then installed handles and tested; working properly at this time, then installed owner supplied handheld shower and tested; no leaks. "I hired Abe Lincoln Plumbing to replace about 60 ft of sewer pipe. Paul, the owner of Abe Lincoln promptly contacted me from my Home Advisor request (I received calls from 3 different companies). Paul came out to my home and cleared my sewer pipes of root intrusions and found problems with the pipes after scoping the line. Paul's conclusion that the pipe needed to be replaced was confirmed by the other companies that also came out to provide their diagnosis and work estimates. I chose Paul over the other companies because he was very forthright on the repairs and his estimates were competitive. With the exception of the delay getting the repair inspected, all the work was performed as planned. Paul was very pleasant to work with and he took the time to explain the work to be performed. I would definitely hire him again on future plumbing needs."

"This is the second time I've had a water heater covered by my Duke NRG insurance policy. Just like the last time, the insurance company referred me to the most expensive and disreputable plumbing companies that gave me outrageous quotes between $1,800-1,900. What a ripoff! That's charging $1,000 just to Install a water heater. I refused to allow their"approved and recommended plumbers to do the job... Instead, I insisted on hiring my own plumber, I talked to the first company that called through home advisor., a small three man company , Gulfshore Plumbers, and spoke directly with the owner, Joey. He was quite amenable to installing the heater I bought myself for around$750. After paying him a flat fee of $425 for the install, my total came to just under $1,200, as opposed to $1,900 to the other charaltans the company approved. With the$1,000 reimbursement from the insurance, it cost me about$200 out of pocket rather than$900 with the other creeps. They did the job promptly the next day, and their man Trevor was very pleasant, polite and professional. I give this small business my highest recommendation. Thanks again guys."
