"Exactly on time for price quote & exactly on time to do the work. They own all the right equipment to do the job including a truck with bucket lift, stump grinder & wood chipper. They decided to drop the trees in one piece rather than cut and lower pieces from the bucket lift (we live in a cul de sac so not much traffic to block). The 60 futter fell across our front yard & all the way across the street. They dropped it right where they wanted to and within minutes had the street cleared. It was pretty amazing when that tree fell. Took about 4 hrs. to complete everything including cleanup using only 3 guys. I will definitely hire these guys again for any tree or shrub service."

"He arrived and I explained what was needed and he gave a reasonable quote which was also the final price. In a few days he returned at the time on which we agreed. He did a very professional job and used very good equipment to install the drip system. His work with the cactus and tree trimming also pleased me. I have waited six weeks to write this review because I wanted to make sure everything worked. It does and I am very pleased."

"I described my leaky sprinkler problem over the phone and gave them my address. The next morning I heard someone digging in my rear patio. It was Chris from Williams Landscaping. He had already fixed the problem and was testing it when I came out. I was sleeping late so I didn't hear him knocking on the door. Anyway, he knew where it was and I gave him permission to go into the back patio if I was not at home. He charged me $10 less tham the origimal estimate. Extremely fast and efficient!"

"I am in property management so I deal with contractors on a regular basis. When doing any major project I always get a minimum of 3 bids, first to make sure pricing is in line and most important to insure I am dealing with a contractor that appears to know what they are talking about. Once I receive the bids I ask for a minimum of 3 references. I have found that one of the most important things to do is look at a contractors work and interview people they have worked for. I actually visited 6 jobs Seth Pompey Landscaping did and personally visited with 3 of his customers. One thing they all had in common was how happy they were with Seth and his crew. My job consisted of a major remodel of my front and rear yards. This included removing my front and rear yards grass and all shrubbery, landscaping, water lines, sprinkler systems, gas lines and drains. After removal everything was replaced with fresh new plants, trees and sod. Seth was very engaging, walking me thru the process steep by steep. Not only was he extremely helpful, he and his crew were very flexible, allowing me to make changes along the way and in some cases not creating any additional cost. Seth even made recommendations along the way which proved to be helpful as well. Seth has surrounded himself with true craftsmen, artist's that know masonry inside and out. They created mow strips, planters faced with small stones, a fire-pit with large natural rock benches and a large cascading waterfall. All of which put the finishing touches on the landscaping he provided. In addition Seth personally took me to 4 nurseries walking isle by isle hand picking each plant, shrub and tree to be used in my yard. While doing so he made sure I was picking the right plant for the right area. I can't say enough about Seth and his staff, they are a class act, one I HIGHLY recommend."

"Rich Durbin is a stand up guy, very professional. Came out and did the estimate on replacing my sprinkler control valves which were very old(40+). He even comes out and does most of the work himself which is a big plus in my book. He even lowered the total price on completion of the job because it was less work than originally quoted, a nice surprise for me. Over all very easy to deal with, shows up when he says he will and gets the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommended."

"What a wonderful plumber! He is competent, diligent, responsive and honest. I only wish the other contractors I have dealt with were on par with this man. I will not let anyone else do plumbing for me. And, this is probably the forth or fifth time I have used him over the years."

"Some plants do not grow well in the depleted soil around my house so it has been hit and miss to find out what works.  Ernesto experiments with different types of plants so we have had some successes - unfortunately they were plants i dont care for like lilies and plants that are mainly a bunch of fronds.  We haven't been as lucky with the ones I do like.  He did plant a lemon tree (fruit bearing) and an orange tree (fruit for one year, waiting for more) that i am happy with.   <br /> My main tree is always trimmed and all the dead leaves are removed from plants.  He comes when I am at work but we will have to make time to discuss things to be planted next.  I was very pleased when he took it upon himself to repair a broken lock on a door to my garage. <br />"

"After the city cited us for having the wrong kinds of plants in the parkway, I contacted several landscapers through Angie's List about removing the existing plants and replacing them with smaller drought-tolerant plants.  I needed the job done quickly because the city was threatening to fine us if we didn't have the work done immediately.  Marilyn of The Plant Connection called me the next day, and we were able to schedule an appointment to get an estimate.  I liked her right off the bat.  I'm somewhat knowledgeable about plants, and wanted a landscaper who would be willing to work with me to create a unique look suited to my tastes. Marilyn grasped what I wanted right away and suggested a number of beautiful plants that would work with our existing landscaping. She was able to start the job within a week of our meeting, and completed it a week later.  She communicated clearly with me each step of the way.  We went a little over budget because the irrigation had to be re-done, but overall her estimate was quite accurate. She worked hard to find plants I liked, even bringing them to my house for me to look at and approve.   We're delighted with our beautiful new parkway, and hopefully the city will stay off our backs now. <br />"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Landers, CA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
