"My very old Maytag dryer was making a very loud shrieking noise. I hired Groth Appliance Repair through Angi. On the first visit he vacuumed the exhaust pipes and analyzed the noise. He also checked for parts and quoted me the price for parts and labor to fix the dryer. A couple days later he arrived with the parts. He took the dryer apart almost all the way. The drum was out. Parts were spread over the basement floor. The repair parts needed to be installed deep inside the dryer. After repair, there was no noise problem. I waited about a month to give this review to see if it was really fixed. It was. So, I would classify this service as very timely, very competent and a fair price. I would definitely hire him again. Also, I never know this company before this service. So, no bias."

"Steve was my appliance angel so to speak. During this time of home quarantine, I anxiously needed advice on how to help repair my washer...on a Saturday, during a pandemic. Four others said they cannot help. Not only did Steve take my call and videos of the issue, look up possible solutions and call me back, tell me a link on how to repair it by myself, but he also followed up w/ a call to see if it worked! Come on...who does that anymore? Steve does. And he did it all from his phone, with kindness, no charge. Hire him."

Returned the next day with a freezer LED and replaced it at no extra charge for additional service call or light. An expensive repair that was made a little better by this company. From the convenience of scheduling, getting a text with a photo of the repair person coming, a text prior to arrival, and efficient, professional, clean service with a smile all around! Tom was incredible on both trips as I needed a part ordered for the broken ice maker, but the microwave was fixed quickly the first day. "My overall experience was great!  I left a message with the company on a Monday morning.  They called back within five minutes and were on site that afternoon.  They ended up needing a part they did not have in stock, so they returned and finished the job on Tuesday.
From my understanding, the part that needed to be repaired basically required taking apart the entire washer (which I confirmed on the Internet).  So, considering that and the fact that the total with parts and labor was $230, I think the job was well worth the money.
Just a side note that this company, although still called Milwaukee Maytag Home Appliance Center, is a service company only...they no longer have a store.
