"Bill and his team did a variety of home repair and improvement projects on my 40+ year home Fall 2024. We a couple months. These included: repairs : replacement of wood sub flooring/framing in basement ceiling/upstairs, covering outside side door concrete steps on slate,and cresting a new sidewalk to lead up to it, cleaning front of house stonework and putting protectant on it, building new short frame and drywall in order to replace old closet doors, dry walling and painting interior room and more. What impressed me most were the professionalism and expertise of Bill and his team in every way. Quotes were detailed, and multiple options were provided when needed. I was kept informed of daily schedules and progress, the contractors were skilled, meticulous and excellent with prep and cleanup. Personally, they were conscientious, diligent and trustworthy, as well as patient, friendly and kind, including with very curious twin five year olds there several afternoons a week. "

Don't mistake his price with what the others offer, because he's doing a thorough job, and doing it once! I will hire him again and ask others to hire him if they want a good contractor who shows up when he says he will, communicates well, doesn't take your money and run, and fits you into his schedule pretty quickly!"

"In all cases he put in what he wanted, and in all cases it was a lot cheaper and WITHOUT RECEIPTS . We were charged for the upgrades but did not get them (Refused to provide receipts,even when asked repeatedly (we have texts from him saying NO RECEIPTS, NO RECEIPTS! NO RECEIPTS!). They cut a huge hole in our garage ceiling for I have no reason why. Also one in the bathroom closet. Bought cheaper toilets than the ones we chose. Became very annoyed with my wife, said he would return them but didn't and installed them anyway. This we know because they still had the identifying sticker still on it. They put the wrong flooring in. We picked one that would match the existing hallway floor. It was an upgrade so we were charged more money and they put in the cheap floor anyway. The bathroom tub was supposed to be a nice tub to go with the expensive tiles we picked. They put in the cheapest tub they could buy and refused to take it out. They then put non slip silicone strips on the bottom that makes it look even cheaper. We came to find that the reason for the strips was to hide a chip that was there. They were repeatedly told we wanted SLIDING shower doors. They purchased the cheapest one they could find with a door that opens out. We asked for power flush jet toilets. They purchased watersense toilets, got mad when we told them it was not what we wanted. Finally said they would return them but put them in anyway. They left the water sense sticker on them is how we were sure. . There were cabinets put in without spacing and as a result the doors and drawers wouldn't open without scraping against the one beside it. We had to replace and buy new ones. The countertop was installed without having a plumber come in beforehand and set up the drain, so now installation of a garbage disposal is impossible without removing the countertops and cabinets. In both bathrooms, the wall niches have mostly gray and dirty white half inch thick threshold pieces to box them out (our bath is brown based) that were cut short at the ends, then filled with gray grout as filler. They couldn't look more horrible. They were also asked to put in white grout to match the brown and white of the bathroom tiles. They put in gray. Towards the end, we asked for proof of license to contract along with receipts. They refused. We told them not to continue work until they could give us receipts and proof of license. The very next day, I came down to find workers there scrambling to finish the job they had so far taken them two months to do. We received numerous and lengthy text messages from them cursing us out, accusing us of sexual impropriety and calling us foul names until we finally had to called the police. Succinctly, this company and the persons we dealt with, Perry Panaccio and his brother Al Panaccio, are a nightmare and not people you ever want have do anything for you! I am seriously considering suing, which I have never done...it is that bad!"

Jack is reliable, professional, has tremendous expertise in the field and communicated with us at every step of the process. He also helped bring me back down to earth because I was so nervous about the asbestos. Truly above and beyond what I could have ever expected. "BUYERS BEWARE! We were excited to sign the contract and really felt that this was the correct choice for a rental we own after reviewing feedback on Google, HOWEVER, we were so WRONG. Salesman assured us that was no difference between paying cash, credit card, money order, etc. To our surprise, credit cards ARE charged an additional 3 percent surcharge. This would have been nice to know after spending over 37,000.00 for a roof. Their response was, well we have no control over what the salesman tells you and there is absolutely nothing they can do about the surcharge. So as the roof was being installed we were told by the supervisor on duty that all the debris would be cleaned up upon completion but that did not happen. In fact our tenants sent us pictures of handfuls of nails, staples and debris that was scattered all over the gravel parking lot that surrounds the front and side of house. Called Bachman's the following day and they sent out a project manager to view the debris, but WE were REQUIRED to be there when he arrived. The project supervisor cleaned up some of the nails, but not all since he only had a tiny magnet and this is a huge parking area. He said the crew that installed the roof is from Trenton, NJ and he would need to send them out in the next few days to clean things up. He said that they use "hundreds of nails when installing a roof and if a hundred drop to the parking area, well that's pretty good", WOW! We were also told by the project supervisor that he was INSTRUCTED NOT TO LEAVE until he had a check in hand for full payment, even though the property is surrounded by debris, nails and staples. We did not have our checkbook on us at the time so he followed us home and waited outside our house until the check was handed to him. After giving him the "post dated" check, we told him to wait three days for the money to transfer to the checking account otherwise our account would be overdrawn WHICH HE AGREED TO. Needless to say, he cashed the check the VERY SAME DAY that it was handed to him, OUCH VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, now we are facing over withdrawal banking fees. The only thing this company cares about is the money (and they need it IMMEDIATELY) even though you are not happy that your property is surrounded by staples, nails and roofing debris. The picture below was collected from only a 3' X 3' area. We are current owners of a family-run business for years and have NEVER and will NEVER treat a customer in this manner. Please take our advise and STAY AWAY. Bachman's is way over-priced and we should have chosen one of the 5 other roofing competitors who were at least 13,000.00 less than Bachman's. LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY."
