"I called to get an estimate and they scheduled it promptly. Because of schedules, they were able to come out on a Saturday. We were given an estimate that my neighbor and I found to be fair and reasonable. The day the work was scheduled to be done, the truck arrived on time. The employees introduced themselves and explained what they were going to do and ho long it would take. They were pretty much right on the money and when the job was complete, there was no mess. The man that was the foreman of the project told me that if any of the cracks would sink or if we found any problems to call and they would come back. We did have some wide cracks that opened and with one phone call they came back and refilled them. The employees were very professional and I would highly recommend them to do any paving and resealing job."

"Chad was very responsive and very easy to work with. He was thorough, detail oriented, and completed the job when he said he would for the price he quoted me. We first have him scheduled in 1st week of October but then our roofing job could not complete in time and had to ask Chad to re-scheduled. He really went out of the way and re-scheduled it multiple times to fit our schedule. They are family owned business and treated us like a family member. It was great to see 2 brothers and their sons on the site working together as one family. The dug out old asphalt and cleaned out the entire area very nicely. Then, leveled and graded the driveway very nice to have very smooth surface. Finally, the beautiful new driveway with very smooth surface of 6 inches of asphalt was put on top to have a very solid and completely new driveway. They brought in an compacted a gravel base, and laid an expert looking asphalt coat over the top of it then. The workmanship and detailing of the work is unmatched of the entire crew. I would highly recommend working with Power Paving and Chad to anyone and I will look to use him again for any needs I have. Five out Five star and very best wishes Power Paving!!"

"I contaced Paver Care for an estimate. TC came out within 2 days and provided a detailed explanation of the work they would perform along with the price. TC also told me that they would not be able to start the project for at least 2 weeks.
After I agreed to the price, they promptly scheduled the work. The crew arrived as promised. It took them a day and a half to complete the first part of the project, which involved resetting the pavers. They did an absolutely outstanding job! In fact, they did more than I thought they were going  to do. The head of the work crew was obviously very committed to doing a quality job. He checked a couple of things with me to make sure the work would be satisfactory.
The following week, they returned to clean and seal the pavers. Again, they did a superb job.
A day after the sealing was completed, I noticed some rather large spots on some of the walkway steps. I had no idea how they had gotten there since no one had been on the walkway after it was sealed. I called TC. He came out and looked at the spots. Even though he had no idea what could have caused the spots, he promptly sent someone out to work on removing the spots. After working on the spots for a while, the crew member decided to power wash and completely reseal the entire walkway! I was very impressed that they were willing to do this amount of work to ensure my satisfaction.
I would use Paver Care again without hesitation. I would also recommend them. Their commitment to quality and customer service is heads and shoulders above that of some other paver restoration services. (I know because I had a bad experience with another company a few years ago.)

FAQs for asphalt paving repair or patch projects in Lansing, IL

With routine maintenance, a new residential asphalt driveway can last 15 to 20 years. In regions with heavy rain or freeze-thaw cycles, plan on extra maintenance to hit the upper end of that range. Concrete surfaces last even longer, from 20 to 25 years. Regular sealing and quick crack repairs go a long way toward preserving both materials.

You can pour new concrete over an existing driveway as long as the base slab is solid. Pros often place a three- to four-inch overlay to create a strong bond. If the old concrete is cracked or spalling badly, it’s wiser to remove it and start fresh to ensure durability.

Keep the surface in top shape by sealing it on schedule and tackling damage right away. Roll on a quality seal coat every three years for asphalt, and reseal concrete as needed while patching any flaws you spot. Staying ahead of small issues prevents bigger, pricier repairs and keeps your driveway looking sharp.
