"I had been gifted a drafting table that had a water damaged top, making it barely usable. I had done some sanding, but realized I could not get the table top perfectly flat with the tools I had. I called the cabinet shop two minutes before closing, the proprietor was willing to listen to my explanation and let me know he felt capable of doing the job. <br /> When I brought the table top in, the proprietor evaluated that he would be able to do the work and gave me a finish date a few days hence. He offered to also fill some fine gaps with putty, and was willing to give an estimate of the cost when asked. When I called on the due date, the top was done, and done properly. I contacted Dean, who saw what was needed, made suggestions, agreed on a price which was very reasonable, and he and his son came on one day to do the sealing and then came again on to install the back splash.
