I checked Angie's list , chose Mr. Decher and set up an appointment.  He called a day ahead to verify the time and let me know his schedule and how that could affect his time of arrival at my house. He gave me a two hour window and arrived promptly at the beginning of the time slot. He checked out the stove , replaced the defunct part , and answered my questions about maintaining the stove, in an efficient ,pleasant and professional way. I am very happy with his work.

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"One oven doesn't work at all ( my choice, see above), the "working" oven was never calibrated properly so using it is hit or miss. It's time to call American Home Shield to see about replacing the entire unit. I'm waiting to finish other home projects before calling them. I don't know if I'll request Greenway again."

"It was tricky to replace the microwave. In order for it to fit Jeff had to install 2 panels. It looks OK but not really good. I would not use your services again but look for some other professional"
