"Exceptionally well. Every phase of the job from the estimate to the construction to the cleanup and billing went smoothly and professionally. The owner and workers were polite, competent, and considerate. Their work itself was splendid and surpassed expectations. The stairway and handrails are a work of art. Thank you!"

"First a quick run through. I called 3 contractors for bids. JZ Construction, Northwest, and Clovis Glass. Clovis Glass only deals Milgard and I didn't have a problem with that and they were the lowest bid. Now that being said Milgard has a D- rating with the BBB. So, I decieded to go with Anlin and I'm not unhappy at all. Northwest was cheaper by about 1k  than JZ and they were also willing to install a full window where a door was previously and JZ wouldn't do that. So, Northwest it was.     <br />     The salesman James was helpful and didn't try to lay the b******* to thick and was able to answer all my questions. Two contract crews came out because I asked them to get everything done in one day and they did. I thought the crews did a very good job and were polite and cordial. They were able to get everything done and clean it all up and replaced all the blinds and made it look great. <br /> The only issue I had was that a window was broken upon initial delivery and they said it would be replaced in a couple of weeks and two weeks go by and I haven't heard anything. So, I give James a call and he took care of the issue for me and a couple of days after that a new window was finally installed <br />     Except for the blunder I thought everything was fine and my wife and I love our new windows! <br />"

"I was pleased with the profession work they did. The workers showed up on time each day and worked steadily throughout the day. At the end of each day all work areas were cleaned up and they explained when they would be back. I have an alarm system and was not sure how it work after replacing the windows, JZ provided me with a name a phone number of a local contractor who could upgrade alarm. So not only did I get great service I also got a great new alarm company in the process. JZ coordinated the work with the alarm company and it was effortless for me. When the window instillation was completed all were inspected and touched up so when the contractors finished they did not have to come back for follow up repairs. My favorite part of the job is how great the products are, I had a decrease in my utility bill immediately. I have had the windows going on 3 years and they have paid for themselves in savings. I especially like the fact that I was dealing with a local company instead of the big box cookie cutters. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Laton, CA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
