"So Nir and Alexander just left my property. They installed two new Chimney Chases. My entire experience with Chimney Sweep Clean has been absolutely marvelous. Initially when I found Nir on a recommendation by a friend, he answered politely and was at my property the next day. A fair estimate was given and I had to wait two weeks for the custom made chases. Remarkably the Chases were made in only a week, he called me and was there the next day and they were installed. Amazing!!! The cleanliness and professionalism with which Nir runs his business is really remarkable. The new custom made chases look great. As well during the installation process he took pictures step by step so he could explain it to me. You just don't find companies who operate like this much anymore. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nir and Alexander from Chimney Sweep Clean for any chimney problem you may have. If I could give them 10 stars I would!!"

"The staff member who came out to give an estimate took pictures of my chimney cap and what work would need to be done. When the work was done, it was in a timely manner and all materials were cleaned up from the work site. The technician again provided pictures so we could see the finished project."

"They were good Their price was exorbitantly high, but they matched the price of other estimate I had and I used them. I don't want to share the price. I'll give them a D for the price, but then they came and matched my other estimates. Their initial estimate was a thousand dollar more than a couple of estimates. The initial cost was a D. Their bid was $1,300 over other bids, but they were actually doing more work. the quality was good. They needed a little monitoring, but they did a great job."

Customers say: Quality work

"Perfecly: Responsive crew, quick to identify the problem, and took pictures from the roof to show me the problem, solution, and final result, including a new bird-proof vent cap to avoid a repeat of the problem. They were not only professional but gave full explanations along the way. The new vent was even painted to match the roof color."

"Called and made appointment for exterior chimney inspection for $100. They showed up exactly in the time window; inspected the chimneys; wrote up a proposal to replace crowns, fix broken flue tile, re-seal flashing for $650 per chimney for total of $1300. Because I accepted the proposal they waived the $100 inspection charge. I paid 20% down and the remainder a week later when they came to do the work. All work was done from outside house with only access to water and power required. No issues. I'd use them again."

"Called Dave to inspect and repair chimney of 40-year-old house after home inspection stated that both chimney and furnace flu needed re-lining and chimney to be rebuilt from roof-line on up to the tune of thousands of dollars.  Dave inspected the chimney and found that the chimney flu did not need re-lining and the chimney could be repaired & weatherproofed, rather than rebuilt - this saved us money and maintained the rustic charm of the existing chimney.  He was very thorough in his inspection and taught us everything we would need to know about chimney maintenance, safety and structure.  His partner, Ken, did a masterful job of repairing our chimney - he replaced the individual bricks with aged ones, then sealed/waterproofed the brickwork - our chimney is safe and maintains its' charming appearance.   He also re-lined the furnace flu and placed the chimney cap.  Dave returned to replace our worn-out fireplace damper and cleaned our chimney.  Although the price for each service was a little on the higher side of other estimates, his creativity and knowledge of alternative fixes saved us money in the long run, and the quality of the work was well worth the price charged."

"The chimney flues had major cracks and were disintegrating, allowing smoke to seep out. Charmed Chimney installed metal liners in each and a top sealing damper in the basement flue. The installation took less than a day with 2 technicians, and the lead installer, Jason, did a good job communicating about the condition of the chimney and how the damper would function."

"Chimney had missing mortar and cracks from age and recent home construction, Chimney was repaired and a stainless steel lining system installed. Crew of two arrived at 10:30a and worked nonstop until 7:00p removing the damaged lining/bricks/mortar, installing liner, and resealing. Both gentlemen were courteous and proficient. Work areas around fireplace (interior) and chimney (exterior) were thoroughly cleaned up. Most pleased overall. Will continue to use them for our annual cleanings and maintenance. Thanks for the excellent work."

"Capitol came out on time, and a nice gentleman named Abraham and a helper came out to give an estimate for the work. He spent about 45 minutes looking around, and to my surprise, issued a bid on the spot. The bid was reasonable and actually included a full rebuild of one chimney from scratch, including building a firebox. I was really tempted because the two other bids I received wanted to sell me a prebuilt firebox at considerable cost (almost nobody hand-builds fireboxes anymore, it seems), and I liked the idea of getting a brand new chimney as I had lots of brick damage from years of thermal cycling. However, the risk is much higher in buying this type of work because your chimney performance is completely tied to the company's ability to properly design a replacement chimney and build it properly in all its details. So, I asked for a portfolio to see their rebuild work--i.e., not repairs, but work where they had fully rebuilt chimneys, They sent a few jobs with perhaps a couple of "after" photos each, which did not engender confidence that they were proud of their work. I would think a big chimney rebuild should have had all kinds of process photos, pictures of the firebox, etc. So, I asked for two references who had rebuilds done who could vouch for the work, and that was the last I heard from this company over a week ago. So, I'm not entirely confident that their full rebuild customers are happy, given I haven't seen a single review on this website for a large job like mine. As tempted as I am to take their reasonable offer, I am not entirely sure they can do a full rebuild I would be happy with. Not having a portfolio and no references is not a good sign."
