"I contacted Omar about a job to repair a section of drywall in a kitchen that was damaged by a bathroom leak, and then to paint the entire kitchen ceiling after the repair. After taking a look at some emailed photos of the area, Omar provided a fair estimate - less than the most expensive estimate I got, but more than an estimate from another handyman. Omar was very responsive in providing the estimate within 24 hours, and also was able to start the job within 1-2 days after agreeing on the estimate. On the day, one of Omar's crew members, Benevicio(?), showed up on time, confirmed what needed to be done, and then began covering all of the areas with tape and plastic protection from dust and painting, as well as covering the floors between the front door and the repair area with drop cloths. He did what was needed to repair the sheetrock, and then painted the entire kitchen ceiling with the paint that I provided. He was careful to avoid contact with the walls, since we discussed that I didn't have paint to repaint the walls, only the ceiling. As other reviewers have mentioned, B. took care to protect the areas from dust and paint - covering all the walls, sealing off the open kitchen with a plastic divider, covering the floors, and wearing shoe covers - which I certainly appreciated. And, he was conscientious about clean-up after the job, to try to leave the work site as he found it. The job he did with the drywall repair and painting was also top-notch. I've had a number of sheetrock repairs done in our home, and this was one of the more flawless repairs - it's almost impossible to see the joints between the drywall patch and the original drywall, which is difficult to make happen. I appreciate the attention to detail and skill, so I won't hesitate to call Omar agin."

The work crews did an impressive job of demolishing and rebuilding the concrete steps and slab, fixing the mortar in the cinder block walls, building a temporary structure to hold the roof up during construction, recoating the exterior porch walls, and installing new soffit, columns and railings. The transformation is amazing. Additionally, Zachary, Nick, and all of the workmen were clean cut, polite, honest, and hard working, with good manners. I found them easy to work with. "We renovated our previously finished basement level after a flash flood damage. This included a family room and a guest bedroom. Edwin and his team did a wonderful job completing the 4-week project that involved removal of old flooring and placement of new luxury vinyl panels, drywall repair, installation of new ceiling lighting, demolition and rebuild of the fireplace mantel, replacement of doors, and repainting of walls and ceilings. Edwin was great keeping us in the loop and communicating with us, including any changes to the work schedule and mid-job proposals for work additional to the initial estimate due to unforeseen issues arising from original construction of the home. They were also very responsive to our questions or requests. We are very happy with how everything turned out and will plan to use their services again for future renovation projects."

"I hired this company based on reviews from Angie's list.  My experience was a bit different than the A + rating they had.  The answered my call for a quote and arrived on time.  The communicated in Spanish about everything.  We all walked the house together and I pointed out everything that needed painting.  We had a discussion about the master bath, the last words I heard George senior tell me was "we can fix this".  They quoted me a price of $3400.00 and said if I got everything done at once, he would take $200.00 off.  I didn't get other quotes because I just moved in and time was a factor, so I can't really comment on price.  During the week, they dropped of a large paint sample thing to make may choices from.  They arrived early to start the two-day job, a Friday and a Saturday.  They finished the job on Saturday, as promised.  My master bath was not painted, the wood on the steps was not painted, they removed all the drapery hardware and it was tossed out apparently, they took a blind down in the master bedroom and I had to remind many times for them to fix it, they did with crazy glue.  The walls and ceiling are beautiful but the trim is horrible.  I am still painting over spots that were missed or the paint was wiped off when they cleaned the floors.  There was a quarter sized drop of paint on my maple dining room table.  There was a large spot of white trim paint on the colored wall in the hall, but worst of all I continue to clean small spots and areas where there is white paint on the oak floors. They did do me one favor and lift a TV back up above the fireplace that had been taken down for painting. They did leave all the extra paint in the basement, one bucket not closed and has a paint roller floating in it.  The worst thing was them teasing my dogs and getting them agitated and pushing each other towards them and laughing.  Overall, I don't think I had an "A" experience.  Unfortunately I would not recommend them or use them again.

Good group of guys showed up to perform the work.  However, the work performed was just fair.  I ended up with paint drippings on approx. 70% of my roman shades throughout the house and more on the floor in a number of places.  I was supposed to get 2 coats throughout the home.  To me, two coats means two coats.... one coat applied, let dry, second coat applied.  To them, it means using a roller wither a deeper pile.  So, get up close to my walls and you can see the color beneath where the coverage wasn't enough.  Luckily my new color was really similar to my old, so it's not a glaring issue.

My mudroom was painted an incorrect color.  It appears that they had run out of the color needed and just moved forward with what they had instead of driving 1 mile to Sherwin Williams and picking up a gallon.  Again, the color wasn't a drastic change from the other, so maybe they thought it would go unnoticed??

I'm a business owner myself and understand the importance of speed of work to maximize your profit, but NEVER at the expense of quality and professionalism.  Slow down, take a bit less profit, do incredible work and watch your business explode!

"Jose did a great job. There was light freezing rain on the day the job was schedule and surprised Jose didn't cancel. He showed up, setup his equipment and worked 3 plus hours going around the home washing away built up mildew on the siding. He even got on the roof to wash the dormers' siding and cleaned out the gutters."
