"The quality of work was excellent, professional, he did what he said he would do, and he exceeds the expectation. I would definitely use the service again and he'll be the first that I would call if I needed a home improvement."

"I think they did a wonderful job. I told them in the summer I had to have the kitchen done by Christmas and it was. Randy the owner has a good relationship the city and the codes inspectors which was good to have in getting approval to gut the garage. John the son is the foreman on the job everyday but you can call the dad anytime and he'll come right over if you want him to sit down and talk. Everything is done with high quality materials. We have encountered no problems. Everyone on the job is highly skilled. Our home was built in 1940 and they were able to renovate it to look like it was all original to the home, not bits and pieces added on."

"The tarpaulin installation provided by this company's subcontractor was done quickly and at a very reasonable rate.   Ray, salesman and company rep who advised me, was punctual, good-humored, and very well informed on the issues I'd be likely to face in completing a full roof repair.  Though I'd worked with one company already on a quick fix and thought I knew a thing or two about what was broken, Ray was able to expand on that other company's assessment of the problem and proposed a thorough repair with quality materials and solid warranties. <br /> This is an excellent company with competent, affable people.  Highly recommended! <br />"

"Everything went very smooth from start to finish. They installed our roof in one day and installed the gutters the very next day. Their drywaller came out the next week and repaired the drywall and painted the entire kitchen which I was expecting just a patch. You can't even tell where the leak was at. I'm sooo happy with my new roof, gutters and my kitchen even feels new again. Everything looks GREAT! <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Laurinburg, NC

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
