"Olvin is by far the best contractor we've ever worked with. Smart, diligent, communicates well, works fast, cleans up afterwards, reasonably priced, and so much more. He did a full reno of the kitchen of my dad's Bayside coop, and partial reno of two bathrooms. He also did repair work in my Jamaica Estates home, identifying a roof leak and repairing the leak and ceiling. Call Olvin, and tell him Gary sent you. You will not be disappointed. My only fear is that next time I need him, he'll be too busy helping you. LOL. "

"Floor looks beautiful! Reliable installers, who accommodated every request. They showed up before 8 every day and worked hard to get this difficult job done as quickly as possible. We requested a Versailles pattern, and it looks gorgeous! They were even able to repair cracked tiles in 2 other bathrooms without damage to surrounding tiles. They use a system to level each tile with the adjacent tiles. Looks better in real life, because pictures are a little dark. Note that they don't replace the floor trim, touch up paint or re-install toilets. The quarter round part of our trim was difficult to remove without breaking because the seams were caulked. So the quarter round isn't back on yet and the paint hasn't yet been touched up in these pictures. But even with the toilet removal they added toilet water solidifying crystals (ie. Oatey LiquiLock) so water wouldn't spill. Thank you, Michael and team!"

After paying my 50% of all work to be completed up front, I had a difficult time getting a committed date and time and engaging in communication prior to the job to firm up details for flooring, painting and preferences of molding to replace in the kitchen."

"Pretty well. The rugs look A LOT better, and the tile and grout is noticeably cleaner and lighter in color. However, the corners and edges of the tile were not completely clean (presumably because their machine can't get into tight spaces). After they left, I cleaned those parts myself using an old toothbrush and various cleaning solutions. I also had to remove the paint splatter myself using "Goof Off". But overall, I am happy with the job because the floors were SO dirty before they came and they were SO much cleaner after they left. No one ever cleans my floors as well as I do, but it would have taken me FOREVER to achieve what they did with their professional equipment."

He does the job the right way, doesn’t cut corners, shows up on time and cleans up at the end of each day. And I will definitely hire again to install the backsplash. "Marlon and Leo did a flawless job on the tile work for my bathroom renovation. Marlon initially told me the job would take 5 days but he managed to finish the job in 3 and a half days ahead of schedule. The price was also very reasonable. Cleaned everything up, brought all of the debris outside and finished ahead of schedule. Marlon did all of the most/all of the tile work and Leo did the plumbing and installed the frameless glass shower door. Both of these guys were extremely hard working from start to finish. Five stars is not a high enough recommendation for this company. I want to give them 10 stars! I will not hesitate to use them again for any future tile work needed. Thanks guys!!"
