"My wife and I hired All Star Contractors to convert an attached garage into living space (about 250 sq ft) and we had an outstanding experience with them. Bill managed every step of the process (design, permitting, build) honestly and fairly, with excellent communication and reasonable pricing. The end result is exactly what we had hoped for. We first reached out to the company with a general idea of what we wanted to accomplish, and our budget. Bill understood what we wanted, and made many useful suggestions to help us create a room that was both aesthetically pleasing and practical, within the budget. The building process lasted about five weeks, with daily work done entirely by two members of Bill’s team (Derek and Mike), with Bill checking in daily to monitor progress. Having the same three people in our house allowed for excellent communication, and it was obvious how dedicated they were to their craft. Any time in the evening we’d see something that concerned us, we’d raise it with them the next morning and invariably they’d show they were already ahead of us and on their way to addressing our concerns. It made us extremely comfortable knowing that the end result would be excellent. As with any project, we considered small revisions in the middle of the process. When that occurred, Bill explained up front the projected costs, allowing us to make informed decisions about what would be worth it to us. Ultimately, the project was completed with great care and minimal stress, within our budget. I would recommend Bill and All Star Contractors unhesitatingly for a large or a small project."

"Freeborn build our deck 16 years ago, then replaced it this year with Trex. This deck is as nice as the first one they built and was finished it in a matter of days. We had a problem with one of the slats lifting up and they were there to fix it the day after we called. Very satisfied with their work and customer service."

"We had an old deck that needed to be replaced.  When the old deck came down we had to do some grading of the soil.  Jim worked with us to schedule himself and the tractor work to make this happen.  The new deck exceeds our expectations.  Jim has great attention to detail and made sure that every part of the deck looked correct and pleasing to the eye.  We added string lights and outdoor lights to the project and he was happy to add that as well.  It is very hard to find people who are excited about your project and take ownership of it.  We found that in Jim and his team!  We are SUPER happy and would reccommend Jim to anyone.

He did everything from going to the stores with my wife to get the right materials, to having a key to our house until the work was done.  Every day I saw progress, he had good communication, and we are very pleased with the end result."

"Day 1 of hiring Peter I knew I made the right decision. He was responsive and very helpful in navigating what I would need to help complete the project. He provided recommendations for vendors and worked alongside me as a partner in completing our job. He communicated well and made it easy for me to understand when problems arose. Both Peter and Bob made great suggestions while they were completing the work- I felt like I was truly a part of the design process. We love our new bathroom and have received so many compliments on the work. Not to mention my two year old daughter regularly walks into the new bathroom and says “Peter Bob did this”, points and smiles.
