"I added 650 sq. ft. to my house which included 2 large bedrooms (each with a closet) and a 4-season room. I also added a deck with a slanted roof over the hot tub area. It looks fabulous. Brad Moreau quoted me a price that was within my budget, and he stuck to it. He suggested options that added to the beauty of the project such as a stunning vaulted tongue and groove ceiling and pocket doors for the closets to save space. I was very specific that I needed the project to start in the spring and finish before the cold weather, and he was right on time. He hired sub-contractors for the foundation, heating/cooling, electricity and carpeting, and every one of them did an amazing job in a timely manner. All the workers were pleasant and conscientious about the job. I would definitely recommend hiring Bradford Builders for any construction project, and intend to hire them again in the future for other projects that I have planned."

"I didn’t just get 1 person, I got 3 working on my projects since he came with his 2 brothers which made the project go much faster. I had an idea about what I wanted but he helped design the deck and added beautiful details to make it look better then I had imagined! They worked straight through the heatwave we unfortunately were hit with right on the dates my deck construction was scheduled for, and though I would have understood if they had said they needed to push back the project until the heat wave broke, they just came earlier in the morning each day to be able to still complete the work within the time I had been told! Very impressive. They also stayed true to the price they originally quoted me even though once getting into to project realized that it was going to take a lot more work since the parts of the old deck which they thought could be reused actually needed to be completely redone from scratch… which they said was not my fault so they were not going to change the jobs cost after it had been agreed to, which I thought was very honorable and refreshing. "I called A&J for an estimate and someone came over the next day.  He took a few minutes to put it together and gave me an estimate right then and there.  I only got two estimates and this was the lowest.  he said it would only take a half a day.  he also said it would be three to four weeks before they could do it.  Sure enough three to four weeks later they called and said they would be there the next day a 7:30 AM.  They arrived on time and within three hours they had taken off the old roofing fixed the wood underneath, replaced the damaged wood on the side, installed flashing and some kind of under-sheeting and put the shingles on and cleaned everything up so that would would never know they had been there.  And they did a very good job.  I love my new roof."

"Feb. snow and rainstorms caused a large ice dam to form on our North side roof, and we had water damage in both the master bathroom and the family room.
Both ceilings had water stains--and both were cathedral ceilngs--high and difficult to reach.  We also had some cracked plaster in the corner of the family room from settling,  as well as one corner in the kitchen. The very top of the ceiling in the master bath had some loosening of the drywall tape and "mud", and since we were at it, I asked them to include this, as well as a cleaning and replacement of light bulbs in the kitchen fan--again, too high for us to get to.  Inspection of the bathroom water stain proved to be not from the ice dam, but a problem with the installation of the bathroom fan and light by the original owners--use of too small a unit and no insulation, causing lots of condensation which leaked down and stained the ceiling.  Both rooms would need repainting of the ceilings and the family room needed a total repaint.  Touch-up of the bathroom wall where some nails had popped and needed recovering would be enough. They matched our 9 year old paint perfectly.
The men arrived punctually each of the three days it required.  They moved and/or covered furnishings and carpeting both in the rooms and in the hallways to protect  them and were very careful to keep dust and dirt to a minimum, and cleaned everything up each night so we could resume normal  living.  They did a great job with everything, and installed a new fan unit of the correct size in the bathroom--cleaned up my kitchen ceiling, and made the fan/light unit look like new. The men were courteous and good at their jobs and did everything we had asked.
Our house looks great again, and we are very satisfied with the company, their estimator Phil; Joe, their supervisor, and his crew.
We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!
