"Kaydn repaired water damage in the ceiling. Sheetrock was replaced and it looks great. We really like doing business with Kaydn. He's polite, does what he says he's going to do, and was able to do the work quickly. We will continue to use him for other work."

"These guys are absolutely fantastic, Larry does incredible work and is very picky how he does things. The bathroom came out great considering it was a wasted corner on the basement. Customers say: Quality work

"Mike has completed two projects for us. The first job Mike did for me was not the remodel project, since we weren't far enough along in the process yet to hire. However, in the pictures they showed me were a couple tile jobs. That inspired mt husband to hire him to finish the tiling of our kitchen counters which I had started three years earlier, then realized I was way over my head! They were able to plan it out and install the tile very professionally! He was very diplomatic about making suggestions of what might be better, instead of telling me I was a crazy lady! :-) We went on to use Mike for a multiple room addition out into our post and beam barn. The addition came out beautifully. Nothing about this was easy! It even required custom- made window sills! During the process, Mike made some good suggestions that I hadn't thought of but liked and went with. The attention to detail is fantastic, and the craftsmanship shows. They made the pegs for the screws in our stairs! Excellent to work with and well worth the money! I can't add pictures to an edit, but have LOTS!"

"Wally Staples has an excellent reputation in our area and I feel that his organization is well run and polished. When I had my meeting with the project estimator, Mr. Staples joined us at the table and answered my many questions. It was unfortunate that the plan being discussed was bare bones in every way -- the <em> new</em> floor plan was seriously lacking and the estimate was well below what would have been needed. The contractor that I hired had done all of the planning and leg work up front so, when I received his estimate, I was able to move forward feeling that we had a solid plan and the real costs covered."

"Let me start by saying I am very exact with what I want in a renovation. The contractor  spent a couple of hours understanding what we wanted in a project. We started with new windows and siding.  All samples were provided and I love our choices. The siding looks just like wood but is durable and never needs to be painted and the windows work great. I liked working with this contractor so much we decided to renovate the entire beach house. The general contractor lead us through a myriad of building codes and regulations as we decided to entirely gut and renovate the house. We redid everything from wall placement to insulation, sheetrock, kitchen, bathroom, floors, electrical and plumbing. Ron, our general contractor was great to work with. He understood what we wanted yet he was always there with great ideas and helpful suggestions on how and why to do things. He was always accessible and ready to change something when we changed our minds. .We added many things to this project. At no time did we feel that our changes and additions were a problem for this contractor. They handled all of it with ease. Any of their sub contractors were excellent as well. I would highly recommend this contractor and this is from people who have done other large construction projects in the past. My neighbor is now having this contractor do a project for them <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Leeds, ME

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
