"The floors in my home were uneven and beginning to show buldges from previous work done to support the house. Leesburg Home Improvement came in and gave me a free estimate and explained what the problem was. Mr Purvis explained what needed to be done in language I could understand. He was kind and told me what to ask when I got a estimates from others. I quickly realized that not only was his quote fair for what he was proposing to do but he was the only one who proposed to do the job right. They also replaced flooring under my kitchen cabinets that was left when the kitchen floor was replaced from a washing machine leak years ago. When I bought the house I had no idea they had left the rotted floor under the cabinets. While they were under the house they noticed that my dryer vent hose was too long and filled with lint. They went the EXTRA step by replacing it with a more efficient length of new hose. The company did not stop there. They went even further and ADJUSTED the gates going into my back yard that had been dragging and difficult to use and shut for years. These guys worked very hard and even took leftover wood and duct work scraps to the trash that had been left under under the house by previous contractors. They have been clean and considerate. There is no trash in my yard and no sign that any of them smoke. My yard is left clean every day and the materials they are using are neatly covered. Communication is good. If I have questions, they are ready to help answer them. So far in the job, my house had become solid. The buldges are gone and the kids can run through the house and nothing rattles anymore. I am pleased and impressed with the work that has been done. I look forward to the new door on the side of the house for my son. The job is not finished but almost! We are delighted!"

"<p>This was a large contract, and I wanted a AAA products and warranties. This was the third Owns Corning roof I had purchased for my homes.  Owns Corning has a transferrable warranty to the next owners, plus Helen's Roofing guaranteed their labor for five years and its was also transferrable to the next owners.  The job went extremely well, no problems. They started the job on time, and worked until it was completed.  Due to Hail Damage they worked with my Homeowners Insurance Company. I would hire then again -- in a heart beat.  They are the best!  Helen's Roofing is a Certified Owns Corning Roofing Company. This is important for the Warranty to be enforceable and transferrable.  Finally, my roof is down right Beautiful!  Your roof is a huge part of your home's overall appearance. I am very happy; and the roof has performed outstandingly through one of the rainiest springs and summers in Albany's history; and coldest winters.  </p> <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Leesburg, GA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
