"First of all, it went very well and I have a wonderful kitchen that I enjoy very much. Josh and his Take Pride team were always timely, helpful and professional and easy to work with. They went out of their way to deliver the kitchen I wanted from the design stage to finish. They came back several times at the completion stage to either redo something that was missed or to fix something I wasn't as pleased with as I had hoped because I chose a wrong paint color, or wanted to add molding. It was a long project beginning in August with the demolition and finalization in February. Much of the delay was due to waiting for cabinets, counter tops, and replacement for broken or mis-sized cabinet components, and not due to any delay by Take Pride Construction. Another company built and installed the cabinets and counter tops and Josh and his team diligently worked to give us a professional finish. While our overall costs were higher than planned as the scope of the work changed, Josh's original quote for his company's work remained consistent. He initially quoted with the plan to do basic plumbing and electrical. Upon demolition, however, we decided to have all new plumbing installed in most of the house and major electrical changes. Our hardwoods were damaged, but we didn't know which company was responsible and decided to have the floors redone to complete the new kitchen. Therefore, we hired a plumbing contractor and electricians to do that work separately. In exchange, Take Pride did some extra work as it came up during the process. I expended a lot of energy coordinating various companies and work, which I would prefer to have the general contractor do, but our changing work necessitated this. Finally, the only request I did not get was a detailed quote, but I had notes of our conversations, the costs never changed, and we felt our construction costs were more than fair. I hope to use them again soon to update our Master Bath and possibly the Master Bedroom as well. I appreciate this company very much and am happy to recommend them."

"Timmothy responded to my proposed repair almost immediately. Visited me the next day to view damage to side of roof. Returned the next day to begin work. Rain and needed material delayed repair over the weekend but he showed up Monday and finished the job in about two hours, Throughout the project he was in touch with me at every phase. "During the course of the estimate & the work, all went fine. It wasn't until the weeks & months afterward that I noticed mistakes made by the crew that did the work; e.g., paint mistakenly applied in places (frames), paint spilled in some places (carpeting by closet), and -- most disappointing to me -- the seams in ceilings that were to have been mudded, smoothed and painted have, over time, become more and more visible. I don't know if the quality of the mud was such that it shrank over time, or what, but the ceiling areas that were to have been smoothed now have very visible seams. Part of the fault was mine in not doing a more careful check during the walk-through with the painting crew when they finished, so that I didn't notice many of these issues until later on. Credit goes to the owner, who offered to come to see the job afterwards, and I said he needn't bother; that said, the ceiling seams didn't show this bad until some months later."

"Reggie did a great job. All the popcorn ceiling removal and repairs to drywall look nice and smooth, and all the paint (ceilings, wall, trim, and doors) looks great. He finished the job in the estimated time frame, and I would gladly hire him again in the future."

"They were efficient in terms of the process. They sent the pad in a reasonable time frame. I did have to call a couple times. It took about a month to deliver. They sent the material which was packed nicely. There were 2 issues: 1-the glue or adhesive they used smelled badly. I had to put in my garage for a couple weeks until that 2-every corner was protruded, the table pad corners were too sharp on the mat .which poses risks with small children. I called about that and they said to put some tape over it. The manager called back to discuss the issue was. She suggested that I try to fix. it. The company might have done something to repair if I had followed up."

"Marcial and crew did an excellent job on the outside of our house! He included all rotten wood replacement in his price (window sills, door jambs, etc.), which was very convenient because several other painters who quoted our job were not willing to do the wood carpentry. They also found some additional rotten siding that we weren't aware of, which he replaced without question. They pressure washed and stained the street-facing portion of our fence, and that was something we didn't even ask for! They were very prompt and only took time off for rain, which they then made up on a Saturday. Very impressed with their work ethic and the quality of work completed. We will definitely use them again!"
