"Great! Showed up in a couple hours, diagnosed problem, came back next day with parts and fixed! It was just a little bit unnerving doing everything electronically - there were three different phone numbers and the business address was at a house in Coral Gables. With all the scams these days, was just a little uncertain about paying for parts ahead of time and giving credit card number out, etc. to “unknown” folks over phone. Then one of the numbers didn’t work the next day, when I called to check if the repair man was coming back (because he said he would be back the next morning). He did come back of course, a half hour or so later than the window the other guy on the phone indicated. And the young gentleman that showed up both days was very polite and professional and did a great job."

" Both my washer and dryer went out on the same day. Incredible. I spoke with Allan Brown of Cold Appliance to get things fixed. All I can say is Mr Brown should be called MR Gold because that's the sort of service he provided. He found the trouble with the washer in about 5 minutes and suggested we test the trouble with the dryer by disconnecting the vent, That didn't work so he returned and diagnosed the dryer trouble very quickly as well. He advised us that it was best to purchase a new dryer.  ( The old one was in  place when we bought the house seven years ago). He even suggested a no-frills brand.
   As a service to his customers, he has prepared a booklet on helpful maintenance tips for various appliances.
