"We had a two projects handled by Mark (bathroom renovation and adjoining mud room refurbish).  Dealing with the remains due to a radiator explosion during our absence - we were devastated and did not think there would be any way to rebuild and repair the remains .We contacted Mark  who we found on Angie's List - who came over to assess the situation.
After about an hour, he came up with a great plan.  His price quote was totally fair - considering the amount of work needed to be done.
We decided to hire Mark. Within a couple of weeks the job began. Proper insulation, expert electrical and plumbing choices were put into action for the bathroom.  Mark installed outlets and venting for a stackable washer/dryer. The sheetrock, crown moulding, tile and antique pedestal sink and faucet installation is flawless.  Mark even installed custom lights on either side of the bathroom mirror and overhead lighting. A vintage door was painted and installed for the bathroom.  His overall bathroom paint job is perfect.
Our mudroom, which has custom wood paneling was practically ruined from the radiator explosion.  At first, we were not sure it would be salvageable, but once again, Mark came to the rescue - sanding, restaining and replacing the sheetrock ceiling and repairing an antique glass paneled door. The final result is amazing - even better than the original job done eight years ago.  Mark is totally professional, honest and an absolute pleasure to work with.
We are beyond happy with our new bathroom and mudroom.
So, after much time being anxious about having  home renovation done - and the dealings that a contractor brings in tow, let me say only three words...
HIRE MARK BOND !!!  You will definitely be pleased with his work !!!

"Jeremy is an honest and knowledgeable contractor. He was prompt with scheduling, and when he had conflicts, quick to call and reschedule. He completed the repair and guaranteed his work (i.e. he will come back to continue to adjust until it is right). He was honest about what the true problem/solution will entail, and I fully intend on having him do that work after the winter is over."

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"Two guys performed the work.  They cleaned the chimney flue and inspected the chimney crown and the inside of the fireplace inside the house.  They provided an estimate for repairs to the crown.  We did not have them perform the repairs because we thought the cost was high at that time.

"They were WONDERFUL!! from first contact to final handshake, every single person was professional, efficient, personable, intelligent, careful, responsive to all requests- downright amazing! We had "stuff" all over, heading to three different destinations, and they were great about making sure it ended up where it needed to be in the truck so it could be offloaded at the appropriate site, and making sure that everything was padded and secure, and all with a great attitude, even when the storm hit and blew down a giant tree in the yard. Other reviews have mentioned that the Ruth crew actually makes the experience fun- hard to believe, but true. They are calm, confident, and do what they say (actually, they do more, and do it better). Couldn't have been happier (well, other than the tree...)"

"We bought our house knowing there were issues with the sun room roof. We paid to get a $75 roof inspection with the intentions that we'd get the sun room roof and then entire house roof done by this company. The gentleman who came to do the inspection acted like he just wanted to get it over with. He was fixated on the one spot in the sun room where we already knew was was issues and didn't want to bother looking at the rest of the roof. He actually gave my husband looks as though he was an idiot for buying the house. Again, we bought the house knowing of the issues and negotiated credit for the repairs so we really needed a thorough explanation of the conditions, how much time we had, the price and solutions not judgement.  We actually called another company and got a more thorough inspection for free. Was told what was wrong with the rest of the roof and not just the sun room so there was new insight in our other inspection and I found this one to be useless.
