I’m a Missouri-based builder specializing in slab-style homes, framing, and structural construction. I take pride in doing things the right way — square, level, solid, and built to last. From full home framing to interior walls, roof systems, metal siding, and house wrap, I focus on quality craftsmanship and clean, professional results.\nConstruction isn’t just a job for me — it’s my trade. I understand structural layout, truss systems, roof pitch, load paths, and how to keep a project moving efficiently without cutting corners. Whether you're building a new home, adding on, or need framing done right the first time, I bring experience, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to every project.\nI believe in clear communication, honest pricing, and standing behind my work. When I commit to a job, I show up ready to work and finish strong.\nIf you’re looking for someone dependable who builds it like it’s their own — let’s talk.

"It went very well. We received timely emails giving us information, arrival times, and a picture of the installer which is a big safety factor. Lucas did a fine job of installation and was very helpful. He certainly knows his craft. The new blinds look great. Our sales rep, Denise, did a thorough job when she brought several samples for us to consider. She was prompt, professional, and friendly. This is the second time we have bought window treatments from her - hence, happy repeat clients. I am happy to recommend this company, Denise and Lucas."

"Mr. Barrett was sensational. My home is 35 years old, and the faucet handle was so badly corroded that it was difficult even to turn off the water. In spite of the corrosion and difficulty in removing the old fixture and installing the new one, Mr. Barrett never lost his patience and continued to work on the fixture at a time when most plumbers probably would have given up and tried to sell me lots of expensive new piping. I used Handyman Barrett for the first time just one week ago for an entirely different project, and I will certainly call him again for any home projects."

"Excellent. Mark Keys worked hard to get our house scheduled and repaired quickly so we could get it on the market to sell. They did great work at a great price. Took them two days to install 6 I-beam supports in the basement and to reinstall a window well."

"Perfect. Excellent craftsmanship and great communication. Knew exactly what I was getting was just what I wanted. Helped get it in my car and explained how hinge adjustments worked. So glad to have found KB Finishes. Will definitely use them again."

"Ratliff installed a new roof and gutters on a house we had just purchased. Mike (owner) was very easy to work with, making multiple trips out to discuss the job, provide samples, etc. He provided a straightforward estimate, and stuck to the numbers even when we asked for minor changes after the fact (no extra billing)! Work crews were diligent, timely, professional, and polite. Mike stopped by every day to ensure everything was going well and that we were happy. Mike was happy to answer questions or concerns we had during the job and had no problem having his crews address small details that I asked about. His foreman Gaston also stopped by most days and Mario the lead installer was the first one there, last one out every day. Job was done as promised, when promised. Overall this was one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. We've had one good hard rain on the new roof and so far no issues have come up. Will post updated review if follow up with Mike is needed down the road (5-year warranty on Ratliff's work)."

"Everything went great as I expected. This was the second time that we had them do work for us. I probably don't need to say anything more than that. They only sell quality products. All of their workers are extremely professional and you can tell they know exactly what they are doing. The people in the showroom work very hard to help you choose exactly what you want and need. We couldn't be happier and I would recommend them to anyone."

"Everything went very well and I am very happy with the look of the stone exterior! Kevin, the project consultant took the time to go over everything with us and provide samples to help us make our decision. Because of the coronavirus situation, materials took a longer than first quoted to come in and project was not started until a couple weeks later than was initially quoted. Again, though, extenuating circumstances. The crew were friendly and did a great job removing the old brick and putting up the stone exterior. Very pleased with the outcome! Have used them in the past for door installation and would definitely hire them again."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Lexington, MO

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
