The manager Joel was very knowledgeable and professional, and gave us a very fair offer to do the job. On the day the crew showed up to start the work I was completely blown away. They had a Calvary of 3 clean and shiny red trucks and equipment come rolling down my street all ready to start work. I was equally impressed watching the crew work so efficiently and quickly to remove the old asphalt, prepare the area, and install the new asphalt. They were done in less than 3 hours. Truly outstanding workmanship!! We would recommend them "hands down" to anyone looking to have their driveway replaced."

"We were having difficulty keeping rain runoff from our driveway from entering our carport and ultimately draining down next to the basement foundation walls.  Al came out to give us an estimate and spent a lot of time assessing the pitch and condition of the driveway, and to offer possible solutions to our water problem.  He gave us a fair price for the solution that would completely resolve our water problem.  Al and his crew arrived on time early in the morning and began removing the top part of the driveway with a Bobcat in order to install a culvert drain pipe and drain in front of  the carport apron.  The crew showed expertise in regrading the pitch of the driveway to direct rain runoff, as well as paving around the new drain they installed.  They hand-crafted curbs along one side of the driveway and at the carport entrance to fully insure that water would go into the drain and away from the carport.  They also  excavated and repaved the driveway where it met the road so that it was a smooth transition between the two parts.  They thoroughly cleaned up and left  a beautifully crafted and much improved driveway.  Overall, we are very pleased with the professionalism and expertise of Al and his crew.  We would definitely use them again for our paving needs. <br />"

"The overall process was exceptional. From the time the first crews arrived there was a constant concern in making sure that my property was well taken care of. While the process was a meassy one, the foreman made sure that they left the job site as good, and actually, better than it was vefore the crew got her. I liked that treatment for sure! "The serviceman from Apex Waterproofing inspected the areas that concerned me, and described some minor work that needed to be done but could be done by a handyman. He did not recommend any major work. His analysis of my 70 year old house was essentially the same as that of the Crackman. Used kiln dried fir wood as opposed to wet pine you typically purchase at the local home improvement stores. <br /> Double K also installed fire blocks (not in original scope of work) that were necessary to pass the local framing permit inspection. Neal was very helpful assisting me with my design concepts and provided solutions to some design flaws that did not occur to me until he pointed them out. "After the driveway was resurfaced, we started having some water in the garage. Had the strips at the bottom of doors replaced, but the contractor said it was coming from the driveway. Much later, we realized that water was coming in behind a wall in the basement. A contractor pointed out how water was coming off the driveway. <br /> In August of 2014, we contacted Gator Paving and they sent someone out to take a look. We were told that the driveway had been done correctly and that there was nothing they could do for us. However, they did recommend that we hire them to "seal" the original work. <br /> Since that time, we have had several people out and the general consensus is that we will have to have a trench/drain installed across the driveway. To say that we are disappointed would be an understatement--we thought we were hiring a top-notch company. <br />"
