"Lar-Con construction did a fantastic job on our recent kitchen and half bath remodel. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Larry, the owner, was extremely easy to work with and offered helpful suggestions that made our plans a reality. He and his crew were always pleasant and professional. They let us know approximately what time they would arrive each day, and the focus of their work for the next day. They took care to keep the dust and construction materials confined to the work area. Larry spent a great deal of time explaining the difference between ready-made, semi-custom, and custom cabinets and how they might work in our kitchen. He suggested we might want to work with a custom cabinet maker to accommodate the odd angles in our kitchen. He suggested a reputable cabinet maker who did a fantastic job developing a workable plan for our kitchen. Larry worked closely with the cabinet maker coordinating installation of the cabinets and countertops. Larry and his crew took the time and effort to complete work as if they were working on their own home. When an unexpected sub-floor repair was necessitated due to a hidden water leak, the crew took it in stride and worked it into their schedule, replacing the sub-floor. They also went into the crawl space to inspect the floor joists for water damage, repaired and replaced them as needed, and even added an additional vent to the crawl space area to create cross ventilation. Larry worked with the contractor we had hired for flooring installation, and was on hand the day the flooring was installed, helping insure it was installed professionally. We felt comfortable enough with Larry and his crew that we were able to take an out of state trip while the work was in progress. While we were gone, Larry sent photos of the work they completed each day and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. We are so pleased with the quality of work completed and the work ethic demonstrated by the entire crew of Lar-Con Construction that we have already scheduled a master bath renovation."

"They really did an outstanding job. The house is only 6 years old and you cannot tell that the walls we moved were not the way the home was originally built. There were a couple of small "surprises" that came up as they got into the demo but Moran and Stephen had ideas to solve them and the extra costs were quite fair. The addition of the screened porch was very complex due to existing roof lines and an existing outdoor fireplace. We had quotes all over the board with one more than double what Vered Renovations charged us. Moran kept wanting to save us money by pushing towards a different roofing solution than metal. But, the home is a million dollar home and metal was the right solution. He got 3 quotes on the metal roof to make sure we were getting a good price. The porch has lighting, fans, skylights, tray ceiling and tongue and groove flooring. The ceiling price looked like it was going to blow the budget but we found shiplap at Home Depot for a very good price and Moran gave us a credit back for the lower cost material. But, the ceiling is exactly what we envisioned in the first place. Everyone who comes into the house is blown away by the porch and how much it looks like it has been there all along. After the job was finished, we had a minor roof leak where the metal roof tied into the existing shingle roof and it was fixed with a couple of days of us calling. Pricing was quite detailed so we had no disputes on where adjustments were needed due to changes from the original scope. For us, it is very important that nobody can tell that a renovation was not part of the original house. This renovation met and exceeded that criteria."

"The men of MWR did a fantastic job on my master bath remodel. I had started the job myself 2 years ago but lost the physical ability to complete it after just doing the demo of the old shower. tub, and tile floor. MWR was actually willing to come in and complete the job for my wife and I. Many contractors will not do that for you. I wanted a high end steam shower kit installed and they did that as will as a new vanity with marble top. They removed and sided over an existing window and added a new window where we wanted one. They also added seamless vinyl flooring that my wife and I prefer over tile or wood. My wife and I are very satisfied with their work. So much so they are rebuilding our back deck and re-siding our home."
