He put in all new pipes, shower, toilet, sink and baseboard heater and floor. He's very handy at carpentry, tiling floors and he even helped us design the bathroom. Joe has done work in our basement too. He put in a whole new bathroom in an area I never would have thought could be a bathroom. He put in a kitchen sink in our basement and has done work on our gas furnace when needed. He is very talented, very good in this line of work, shows up on time, stays with the job, and is a hard worker. I highly recommend him!"

"The guy that came out was nice but really didn’t do a great job of troubleshooting. He said it was a pressure sensor problem and that the whole control board needed to be replaced. He called and gave his shop and they gave me a price of over 350 dollars. I told him no way I’m gonna pay that since it was more than the machine is worth. He then offered that I call the manufacturer to see if they could help which I did. The manufacturer sent their own repair man and that guy just pretty much reset the computer and now my machine works well. I should have just called the manufacturer first. I had to pay the 80 dollar service call to Affordable Appliance for them just to diagnose it. I was charged the 80 at first and the owner Richie contacted me and was very helpful in making my situation right. He refunded me the charge for the service call and offered his business again if I want it in the future. This was a great way to show that he cares about his customers and based by that action, I will recommend him for future jobs."

"Robert and his staff was VERY knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I have a Kenmore Washing Machine (pre-1977) of which they do not make any replacement parts for anymore and the transmission of the machine died. I was looking at having to buy a new washing machine BUT Robert was able to find a transmission (which should have been impossible) and install it and my washing machine now works "as good as new". His efforts and service was greatly appreciated and if I have ANY problem with my Appliances in the future... HE will be my FIRST call to get it fixed/repaired."

When they came out they told me the compressor needed replacing in the refrigerator and it would cost $800.00

plus labor. They also told me I needed 4 new igniters for my gas stove burners. I was quoted a price of $20.00 - $30.00

per igniter plus labor. It cost me $89.00 for the estimate on 8-31-2015. I was told they would contact me when the parts

came in .They came back on 9-16-2015 to repair the burners. I had been expecting a quicker return date. I don't see why it took over two weeks to get 4 igniters. The igniters were replaced quickly and I was charged $181.25 for parts and labor. It seemed to me to be a little on the high side but I didn't question it at the time. When I looked at the receipt later to figure out how much I was charged  for parts vs. labor the receipt was not itemized so I could not tell. My main complaint is that less than two weeks later on

9-27-2015 one of the burners failed to lite again. I would not expect that to happen. I will

have to contact them and hope I don't get charged again to come back out and look at it again. If I do get charged for another house call I will not be using them again.
