"Replaced a bow window and a patio slider. They accomplished it all in one day. They were clean, covered everything up when they were working so there was minimal dust. Vacuumed when they finished. Pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Rite Window."

"I recently had an installation done by Bathfitters, and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience! From start to finish, the staff demonstrated the utmost professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Every team member was knowledgeable, courteous, and eager to answer all my questions, making me feel completely at ease throughout the process. The installation itself was impeccable! The quality of their work is outstanding, and the result has transformed my bathroom into a space that feels brand new. The installers were meticulous, efficient, and respectful of my home, leaving everything spotless when they were done. Iâ m genuinely thrilled with the final product and the entire experience. Bathfitters truly went above and beyond, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch service and a beautiful bathroom makeover. "Our service technician Mike G. went above and beyond for us. When we pulled out the shower, the existing piping made it a challenge to fit in the new base. He quickly resolved the issue, relocated existing pipes and worked OT to complete the shower install in a day's time. He also replaced bathtub in a 2nd bathroom and did a flawless job. Much appreciated"

"This is my first time using this company. I have had the pleasure of meeting both brad and dan. They are both very knowledgeable and respectful. Dan did a great job with reglazing my bathtub and it looks brand new. He was so kind to help with taking the shower doors outside so I could clean them and offerred to return to put them back up. If you are reading my review please call them. gail p"

"Based on excellent reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Just Bathrooms. John K., the owner, immediately contacted me and within a day had met with me and provided an initial estimate. This was refined slightly and contracts signed a couple of weeks later. The price was $34,500 and included everything except tile, towel racks, toilet paper holders and wall sconces. These added approx. $3,500 to the project. Also, John provided an allowance of $600 for each bathroom for sink and shower/tub fixtures and toilet. This really wasn't enough; the total additional cost of these for both bathrooms was about $1,300.00. John does not have a showroom, so we had to do all the shopping on our own (e.g., tile, fixtures, countertops, vanities, etc.). Once we had decided, John did the ordering and pick-up. We scheduled the project to begin in early August; however, when that date arrived John asked to delay the start for about three weeks because of other work. The renovation began at the end of August. John estimated that it would take about 3 weeks per bathroom, for a total of 6 weeks. In fact, it took just over 10 weeks (not including the additional time for the custom shower door to arrive). The length it took to complete, I believe a number of renovation projects were being juggled at the same time; was our only serious "complaint." Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the completed renovation. John was very responsive throughout the project. Special recognition goes to Mike, his lead carpenter who was a great craftsman and problem-solver. Other than Mike and his assistant, John uses subcontractors. With one exception, they were all excellent too: electrician, tiler, plasterer. The one exception was the plumber, who made several mistakes and complained when he had to return to fix them. Overall, we were very pleased with Just Bathrooms, recommend them, and would use them again."

FAQs for bathtub liner or shower surround installation and replacement projects in Lincoln, MA

A bathtub liner is a custom, one-piece shell that slips over your existing tub to hide cracks, stains, and chips. Most are molded from tough acrylic or PVC and can include a matching wall surround for a complete facelift. When a pro bonds the liner in place, you get a watertight seal, a fresh look, and an added layer of safety—all without tearing out the old tub.

After a tech measures your tub and orders a made-to-fit shell, installation takes a day. The installer cleans the surface, applies industrial-grade adhesive, and positions the liner in place. They trim the edges, tighten the drain, and run a smooth bead of silicone caulk to lock out moisture. A quick plumbing check wraps things up, leaving you with a ready-to-use tub by the next morning.

You can pick preset sizes or order a liner molded to your tub’s exact shape, then choose from dozens of colors, patterns, and finishes to match—or refresh—your bathroom. A pro trims and fits the shell on-site, so every contour lines up and accessories like grab bars or shelving land exactly where you want them.

If the liner’s material accepts a fresh coating, a professional can sand it, apply epoxy, and restore the shine in six hours for $480. Swapping in a brand-new liner runs $800 to $1,000 and takes a day or less. Refinishing is the wallet-friendly route when the shell is structurally sound, but it won’t last as long as starting over with new acrylic.

Most liners last three to five years. High-quality acrylic, a snug professional fit, and routine cleaning help you reach the upper end of that range. If moisture seeps behind the shell, mold and odors can shorten its life, so keep an eye out for loose caulk or soft spots and call a professional if you spot trouble early.
