"Derek was very thorough in his explanation of what he would do to rebuild our deck. He inspected underneath to get an accurate idea of what needed to e ordered and what needed to be done. Because of that he was chosen over other contractors. He showed up when he said he would on time everytime. He has a strong work ethic you don't see very often any more. He conversed with us throughout the job to be sure it was up to our expectations. We are happy with the completed job. He was very pleasant and easy to talk with and understood exactly what we wanted and he did it."

"Great. We have learned to communicate well. We walk through jobs before getting started. He is punctual and finishes on time. He completes what was promised. He addresses any issues promptly. He recently replaced my roof and i found out later that he drove by after the job was completed just to double check that there were no issues with the work. It had been raining hard and Travis knew I was out of town. He explained quality was important. That word of mouth can make our break his company's reputation. I really appreciated that kind of follow up. His work has included completion of shop interior: New bathroom, laundry room, loft, exterior doors, and entryway covers, all associated electrical and plumbing, On existing house: New roof, gutters, new siding, replacement of all windows, and new paint."

FAQs for interior trim and decorative moldings repair projects in Lincoln City, OR

While the terms 'trim' and 'molding' are often used interchangeably, they serve different purposes in home design. Trim refers to materials installed at the junctions of walls, ceilings, and floors, providing a seamless and functional transition. Molding, on the other hand, is a decorative type of trim crafted specifically to enhance your interior's visual appeal. For personalized recommendations that match your home's style, consult a professional contractor.

Repairing or replacing trim throughout your entire home takes six hours. If you're focusing on just a single room or a small section, you can expect the project to take one to two hours to complete. The process includes removing the old trim, carefully measuring and cutting new pieces, and precisely installing them to achieve a polished and lasting result.

Selecting the right trim is key to enhancing your home's overall design. Common options include shoe molding, quarter-round, baseboards, crown molding, chair rails, and picture rails. The best choice depends on where you're installing it, your personal style preferences, and your budget. Consulting a knowledgeable contractor can help you find the perfect trim to elevate your interior's appearance.
