"Patrick, the owner made the service call to my house in about 1/2 hour. I was alone, babysitting for my two grandchildren and very worried. I explained my problem, he told me what to look for (a water shut off valve) and asked if I could turn the water off. I told him I would try. I was frantic because with the babies, then not finding any shut off valve, water coming up from the floor, and clearing way for what I thought would be a wall tear down - Patrick and his "manager" (?) arrived. (Mind you, my family also came to help, but did not locate the shut off valve). The water pipe happened to run under my bedroom floor! Needless to say, WITHIN MINUTES the rushing water stopped. Patrick is professional, knowledgeable, and quite a gentleman, (despite being waterlogged) and I felt that he gave me all options for this future repair.

They also guaranteed that if the venting was deemed insufficient by People's Gas, that they would meet PG's request (within reason, of course) at no extra charge."

"J. Blanton did an excellent job installing two brand new water heaters in my two flat.  After searching, talking to friends and family, and getting several estimates I decided on J. Blanton.   From the onset, they were courteous and patient with me.  It took some time for me to respond to the initial estimate and another month to schedule the installation but J. Blanton was patient with me  (my water heaters were still functioning but barely hanging on).  I even had to reschedule installation twice yet they were pleasant each time and patient with me.  
On the day of installation, they arrived promptly as promised and in fact the office called letting me know their plumbers/truck had left their yard.   This was very comforting, since I tend to become anxious, in general, when waiting for appointments and service calls.
