The new super strong and beautiful cabinet is such a custom fit that one would think it was always there. The exterior was sealed including repair of small area of wood rot and painted. Work outside and inside was performed with outstanding attention to detail to ensure quality work and customer satisfaction. Both professionals were a pleasure to work with, and we would hire again."

"I wish I could give Pero more than 5 stars! Pero has added screens to our gazebo and his work has been outstanding. I found SH&R almost by accident one day online but we are very happy we did. Besides adding screens and a door to our gazebo, he also installed a ceiling fan and two outdoor lamps. In addition to our gazebo, he also installed for us a shower door for our basement bathroom and a sliding screen door at our kitchen. His work ethic, communication and capacity to pay attention to details are exemplary. Since day 1 I was amazed by how proactive he is and how he always wants to have a perfect finish product for the client. He definitely goes above and beyond to keep his customers happy. His projects are much more competitive than other contractors in terms of cost and the final product is just perfect. "Ron Scott, owner of White Dog Painting, came out in late September to see what was needed and prepare an estimate to repair siding, wood rot, and paint my home. While walking around the house, he has some smart ideas on how to prepare the fascia and trim to prevent further wood rot. He provided an estimate. It was complete and White Dog was hired to make repairs and paint the home. White Dog showed up in early October to begin. The crew arrived promptly at 9AM and worked until dark for several days. White Dog repaired and replaced trim, chalked and prepared the surfaces for painting. The crew spray painted and it looked great. There were only two issues that came up during the painting. 1. They used two different brands/colors of siding, and the darker siding appeared to have already been painted another color. Ron Scott assured me both were new siding, but still waiting on receipts showing he made 2 separate purchases of new siding rather than using scraps from another job. 2. The really good ideas Ron had on making adjustments to the trim, fascia were never conveyed to the crew and I had to press the crew myself to get those adjustments made on, literally, the last day of their work. As good as the finished paint job and repairs looked; the unskilled approach to the other details soured the experience. The trim was screwed into the window itself rather than the frame. Of the 11 windows painted, 8 were ‘painted shut’ making them inoperable. The storm windows and door were ‘slapped’ back on, leaving large air gaps between the storm doors/windows and frames. Of the 4 outdoor lights the removed (before painting) then reattached; only two worked. The other two had not been wired correctly. Worst, the home has a steel roof and Ron had assured me his crew knew how to operate on a steel roof. They did not. They left 4 trails of dents and damage across the roof as they painted the dormer. Ron assured me that White Dog was committed to making things right. Two months went by and White Dog never came out to inspect the damage or send their insurance agent. Once I got an estimate for the repairs, I told him the amount and the roofing company to make the check out to. No check. When I insisted he turn it over to his insurance, because he advertises on his website and Angie’s List that he is insured, no response. I complained to the BBB and received an email from Ron that he had given all my information to his insurer and they would contact me. After almost 6 months, still no phone call or resolution from White Dog Painting or contact from an insurance company. I had to have the roof repaired on my own."

"My wife and I selected Sissi Construction to do a near complete overhaul of our old house and we are exceedingly happy about the work and time frame it was finished in! We started planning with Lewis & he was able to walk us through a detailed process in picking out new bathtub, bathroom appliance, hardwood floors, paints and details into how we wanted the whole renovation house to look. He was able to work with us and ensure we didn't exceed our budget limit and there were no "surprise" costs that you usually hear about other workers. We then worked with Tony as well to finalize what we wanted and he gave us some good recommendations. One of the best things about this company is they assume responsibility for all of the paper work with the co-op and management company and kept us in the loop. When the work got started they were able to knock down a wall to open up the bathroom and attic, get most of the demo work done in under a couple of weeks. End to End most of the work was complete in a 3 months period which was outstanding to us! Lewis the main contractor was awesome and explained everything in detail with us and gave us dates by which each could be done. Fantastic lead! They also were very attentive to the little details that we needed to have handled which was fantastic as we can be a stickler for the little things. We love the look of our new house now and will be using this company when we redo our rent room. Fantastic company that I highly recommend!"

"Work was done to my expectations & beyond. Ben & Jesse helped me decide how to best approach the repairs & that made my $$$ go as far as possible. Work started on time and the job was finished on time. The quality of the workmanship was excellent---from demo to cleanup everyday to new drywall/mudding to painting and finish carpentry. I had new floors installed. To be honest, there was a problem with how the upstairs bathroom floor was installed. I was not happy and after they looked at the job, they agreed with me. New materials were ordered and installed perfectly within several weeks. I think that is what impresses me about this company. So many times contractors blow off an older woman. I've been treated so poorly by other companies. Not this company. When there was a problem with that flooring, they wanted to make things right and have me be satisfied. They never talked down to me or made me feel like my requests were outlandish. I couldn't be happier."
