About 13 years ago, while living at our previous residence: JM remodeled and modernized our full Kitchen, two full bathrooms and, after many tries by other contractors, he was able to stop a leak from our roof at no charge. About 10 years ago, at our current residence , JM remodeled and modernized our full kitchen and did a unique job of updating 4 large sliding closet doors. He removed the cheap inserts, and replaced them with 1/4” high quality plywood into the frames. He then, using wood molding, he made the face of the doors look like real wood doors. Doors were stained and look like expensive oak doors! JM comes up with excellent suggestions, alternatives, and expense saving ideas. "If I could give zero stars I would. I booked this company for an urgent project and confirmed date/time on a Monday. On Friday, someone shows up saying they are here to work on assembling my shelves. I said we were scheduled for Monday and he got very aggressive and made a phone call. He kept insisting that he was already here and just let him in to do it and I said no because I am getting furniture delivery and then leaving. He got more frustrated and finally left. I felt very uneasy and considered canceling, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. On Sunday evening, I texted the number to confirm that we were still good for Monday and he responded that we were. No one ever showed up or responded to any of my messages. This is the first time using Angie and honestly this was an awful experience. I assumed there would be some kind of background checking or vetting but I cannot imagine there was because something seemed very off. Proceed at your own risk but needed to share"
