Fast forward to the present and our current home: started off with a leaky pipe fitting. I called Apex, despite Google listing the business as "permanently closed" - I assure you, it is not! Please ignore that and give them a call for any roofing needs. This time, I worked with Jared, Pat's son. He was equally as, if not more, pleasant, fair, and super easy to work with. He responded in a very timely manner, set very realistic expectations for getting work done, and worked closely with us to make sure our heated driveway didn't get damaged from all the work. We never felt like he was price-gouging or trying to take advantage of us at all. Work was completed in a very timely and professional manner, and all the workers were very pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to call Apex again for any issues with our roof, as I found them incredibly competitive and I love supporting local businesses. "Extremely knowledgeable, very friendly service. We told them we had a leak. They came out, inspected and gave us a reasonable quote. Since it was going to rain before they could get to the job they came out and patched all the holes they could and covered areas that needed covering. On the day of work they diligently covered everything with tarp around the outside and put protective boards up around the windows. Am I able to complete my small Royal oak bungalow in 3 and 1/2 hours?."

"I had Martino Home Improvements replace my roof back in 2020, which the initial installation had a fair amount of issues ranging from improper tarping of the roof during the installation, which ended up with rain pouring into my house when it rained. Since the repair I have now had leaks and in multiple places along with improper venting, which has meant rusty nails and ice forming on nails, after spending 30k on the replacement they are now looking for another 1,450 to add more venting to fix their install. I am not impressed and wouldn't recommend them."
