He is one of those guys who measures twice & cuts once. But he is dead on the money with reframing and adding extra support in that system so I am confident that he not only fixed the problem; he has prevented any major downstream problems. Another unexpected problem happened when Gary was going to fix a leak in our porch roof. What looked like a caulking job has turned into removal of water damGe stucco & trim to replace. But also he had to repair a bad roofing job where they cut shingles way back from side of house & did not put flashing. We found our same shingles at Beacon Building and Gary reshingled the area which was about 1/3 rd of porch size. He was so careful to rebuild the valley and cut shingles to perfectly match the pattern along with replacing flashing; tar paper ; and moisture barrier. He does what I call a triage of the problems and discusses his plan of attack with me. Then he methodically goes to work . Even after a long day on the ladder or scaffold; he always cleans up the area never leaving a mess. He is a polite, amiable young man who I find to be good hard-working man who is honest as day is long. We still have work going on but I go to sleep Thankful for this fine Handyman and plan more jobs in future where I only want him to do…."

"Danny Wright responded promptly to my inquiry about bidding for this job. His assessment was thorough and professional and proved, ultimately, to be quite accurate. The actual start of the job was somewhat delayed, due to rain. Danny was assisted by two younger men, whose work he supervised very closely, even requiring them to redo repairs when he wasn't satisfied. All three men were courteous and professional. Danny identified two locations where roofing and gutter repairs must be made before painting can be completed. He also ascertained that one of the water stains in a ceiling was still wet, indicating that the shower above it was leaking. Always available, good flow of communication, sending me pics throughout the installation. Educated me on the process, materials, best practices, etc. I got bids from several roofing contractors. DAV had the best price and also gave me the best feeling overall that they would handle the job properly. They got the job done quickly, didn't tear up my landscaping, cleaned up very well afterwards. Michael even came by a couple times to sweep for any missed nails himself.
