They came in and removed the old engineered wood and carpet and did so quickly and began the installation the next day. We had to stagger the install of the stairs because the materials for the stairs did not arrive until the next week. He was accommodating of the delay with no problems. "JJ Carpet, Inc installed our new Kahrs hardwood â floating, click and lockâ flooring (with no adhesives), Quiet Walk underlayment, and transition pieces, using Landobond wood glue, and AFM Safecoat caulking which we purchased from Green Building Supply. Julian and his team installed the flooring, plus all new baseboards in our home last week, in 4 days, including priming and painting the baseboards. I have multiple chemical sensitivity, so it was very important to find flooring and other products that are VOC- free with no off-gassing. Once we found all of the right solutions, we needed the right person to install the flooring, since it not the typical hardwood flooring that is glued, nailed down, etc. Julian spent time with us to understand exactly what we needed and why. Not many people understand how important all of this is to someone with multiple chemical sensitivity. If one wrong product is used, it could mean not being able to move back into our home. Julian listened, understood, and his installers followed through exactly as planned. His onsite installers were professional, courteous, and did excellent work. Byron was very responsive on text/phone and came in a few times before we settled on a date to come provide a quote as well to give me samples that I could select from. He is based in Culver City and yet made the trip out to Pasadena a few times to help with making sure I was comfortable with the sample selection. He was very prompt and responsive during scheduling especially when I had to move the date a few times due to delays in remodeling. His team was prompt and came in as scheduled, did a great job and provided me regular updates during the process. They also use dustless equipment and did not leave any dust on the walls as a result of the polishing. They were very professional and I would highly recommend their services."
