"When you find a great contractor, don’t let them go. ;). I hired Tim to build a screen porch under my deck but added several projects as I recognized the high quality of work and attention to detail from his crew. In addition to the screen porch, they built a deck extension - so nice that I decided to have them replace the existing deck, installed a basement slider and replaced the door, installed a new fence and built a shed. Tim was responsive, open, honest and receptive of my requests and additions during the project. Great experience working with Tim and his crew: Dan, Brian, Eddie and Ben. He was very consultative in helping to pick the right materials and his suggestions made the whole project fall into place His attention to detail is excellent. Even the building inspector commented job well done on the permit. He showed up every day on time and stayed regardless of the weather to complete the job in a timely manner. When I began the process of getting quotes to build my 2 car detached garage back in March, the most important factors for me in selecting a contractor were price, competence/quality of work, and trustworthiness (not necessarily in that order). Xavi, the owner of Xcc delivered on all three from start to finish. From the original quote which was fully itemized to show every last detail of the build to the final piece of trim installed, Xavi’s commitment to the job and open and honest communication style was exceptional. Xavi is a perfectionist, so if something isn’t 100% he won’t rest until it meets his standards - his crew is fantastic as well. Entering into a project of this size and cost can be a little intimidating given the amount of risk assumed by the homeowner and potential what if scenarios that can play out, ultimately will the builder will do what he says he will in the agreed timeframe? "We had a wonderful experience with Steve on our bathroom remodel. We are fairly new homeowners and this was our first experience with a contractor, and we wouldn't change a thing. He did literally everything - installed a tub, did some beautiful shower tile work, plumbing, painting, electrical work, replaced drywall, window replacement, floor install, and more. Not only was the quality of work impeccable, he made sure to keep in constant contact regarding any unanticipated project changes and how they would impact the schedule and our budget.
