"I called for a service  on March 6, 2015 and the set up the appointment for between 1 and 4 pm, on March 9, 2015.
The called me again on March 9 at 10 am and reset the appointment for 11am and 12pm on March 9, 2015 as their repairman had a opening.  I agreed to the change and waited until 11:30 am and called them and said I had not heard from the repairman.  They assured me that he was on his way..  At about 12:30 the called me and said he could not make it because he had to take someone to rehab appointment, but said they would get someone there between 1pm and4 pm.
At 3:50 pm a guy in a delivery truck came to look at the softener..  He looked at the softener and after 5 - 10 minutes found that the new water I had installed 2 month ago, was sitting on top of the discharge water tubing preventing the softener from operating
Since he did not have a service truck he could not fix the softener.  He offered to send another service truck out the next day, but  I would have to pay another service charge.  I declined and said I would go to the hdwe store and buy and install a new tubing for the softener..
I was told over the phone that the service charge was going to be. $78.00.  What I wasn't told was that there is a$2.00 a minute charge for the time the "serviceman" was at my home for a total o $20.00.  I also was not informed that there would be a FUEL SURCHARGE of $4.96.  After reading this I decided I can not afford to call these people ever again.

"Matthews plumbing did a fantastic job repairing our water heater. Matt quickly returned our request for a service call. He went above and beyond by gathering any possible parts before coming to diagnosis the issue to ensure it was fixed on the same call. I would highly recommend Matthews plumbing to anyone who is having any issues."

"Joel is excellent! He explains everything in detail and also makes suggestions of what can be done without any pressure. He gave us the bid and did the work for us that same day. Will call him again for any more electrical needs that may arise."

"Hats off to Trevor & Kristan employees of the Pleasant Plumber Inc. Thanks for the good work repairing our emergency plumbing issue. And for having a much better price than the other bids we received."

"Needed a leaking water heater replaced. Todd was great at providing a quote for the job, and working me into his schedule for the next day. Punctual and efficient...and within an hour or so I had a new water heater with hot water! Would highly recommend for a job well done."

"Installation of a new natural gas water heater was done in about 3 hours. He had to come up with a way to have the water heater raised as it sits on a drain pad and the flat surface of the heater bottom would have closed off the drain. The old heater has legs. He used PVC pipe pieces to elevate this new heater. He replaced the gas shutoff valve and the water shutoff valve. The old ones were over 36 years old."
