"My experience was not very good. He let the concrete truck back up into my yard, and put the biggest rut. Who does that? He didn't apologize. He said my husband gave them the okay. My husband said that he did not give any okay to do such thing. My husband said that he doesn't care if there was no concrete in the truck, you don't back up the truck in a yard. It was unbelievable for a provider who had some experience. Everything else came out pretty nice. We just couldn't believe that he couldn't put a string and measure and put more concrete there. Those are the problems that we were very disappointed with. They said they would show up this date, they didn't show up."

"Affordable Foundation Repair’s owner Danny Mudd and his crew were punctual and complete the job in the time frame that Danny laid out. The crew worked hard and was very polite. They left the area as clean as when they arrived. The crew answered any questions that were asked of them. Danny returned called within a reasonable time frame. He would also answer question through email. At the end of the job, he gives you an evaluation form to complete. <br /> I highly recommend Danny Mudd and his company. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"The foreman, Jeffrey, and his team were great.  They showed up on time, worked hard with few breaks, and their work areas were left neat at the end of each day.  <br /> Jeffrey explained the process as work progressed.  Due to heavy rains, the team had to come back a 3rd day to finish the leveling service.  They said they would be there at 8a, and they were.  The house was re-leveled to within 1/2".   <br /> I would highly recommend Cable Lock. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Loreauville, LA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
