"The plumber performed a cursory check of the plumbing in the house. The outdoor faucets and refrigerator ice maker line were overlooked as well as the floor drain under the spa tub.. On the phone prior to the visit, I asked how long it would take to perform the   water heater "flush" and inspection. He said about 45 minutes. It took him about 30 minutes including the water heater flush. He looked at the plumbing in/under each sink, tub and shower and noted there was no evidence of leaks and  pointed out   a few obvious problems I was already aware of ( e.g. disconnected sink plugs, old faucets, etc.). Even though this was an Angie's List "Big Deal" supposedly at half the usual price, i thought it was excessive for the  service provided.

"Wes showed up on time the same morning of my original call to Crown. He diagnosed my sump pump problem within ten minutes and I'm embarrassed to say it was a tripped GFCI circuit that my garage and backyard outlet shares. I should have known the first step of troubleshooting...check power source. After I reset GFCI in garage Wes verified the pump was working by observing several cycles. Sump pump replacement has been on my to do list for 15 year life and that's this year, so I'll be replacing both interior and exterior pumps in a couple of months. I'm going with a battery backup unit for the exterior sump. The prices for replacements are a skosh over the top end of my budget, but I'm impressed with the company, so I'll pay for the peace of mind."

About 10 days later, there was a definite problem with some of the caulking around the tub. Todd came out the same day I called and re-caulked the problem area. They scheduled to come at the first time I was free. I received a phone call when the mechanics were on the way to my house and they were on time. Since I had given them the type of disposal that was currently installed, they brought a replacement with them, so although this was an estimate appointment, they were able to go ahead and install it, which they did. They were very polite and answered my questions. Based on what I paid 10 years ago to have the prior one installed, I'd say this was a little pricey, but it's working fine, and I'm very glad to have it taken care of."
