"Mr. Attia showed up within the 3-6 pm window and gave me 20 minutes notice that he was on the way. He was clear, professional and efficient with his assessment and subsequent oven repair. Also, took a look at our gas fireplace and educated me a bit about its use, and even answered a question about the icemaker in our fridge. Gave me info on ordering new oven racks, too! Great, friendly service at a fair price. I'll definitely be calling American Appliance again."

"Went amazing, Nick (highly recommend) came out to assess the situation on my 18 yr old (double drawer) dishwasher... he was careful not to break anything in the process, began trouble shooting parts, found out that likely due to heat and moisture of a dishwasher - the connector on one of the controller boards seems to not making good enough contact. He cleaned the connectors on both drawers before reassembly, and I had two fully working 18 yr old drawers on the spot with no new parts needed. Nick was also helpful to recommend brands that were less likely to see repair after purchase, I wasn't sure if I'd go with Fisher & Paykel again in the future - but I've had so few problems, and even now at 18 yrs the machines are working like new... so with Nick's insightful inputs, I'll probably upgrade to the latest Fisher/Paykel double-drawer model when I get to that point. I'm an engineer by trade, so I already know many of the likely appliance trades - and Nick of Sterling Appliance did a great job... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others, especially if you no idea about the appliances and need to trust the repair service. :) Nick did a wonderful job, explaining what his concerns were - and wasn't pushing a bunch of unnecessary alternatives... he was there to help me understand how to move forward."

"They came the same day that I contacted them and identified the problem which was the oven thermostat. Came back the following day and replaced it. They sent me a tracker so I knew exactly when they repair person would arrive. All went well, no delays. Also gave me advice on another issue I had. I liked that they were honest about value for money and whether it was worth fixing something vs replacing it altogether. The price was comparable to other work that I have had done. The problem is that overall prices are too high in this area and I doubt I would have found a better deal if I had shopped around. I the end, I paid the price of half a range just to have a part replaced. I will certainly hire them again since they are prompt, professional, and honest."

Sami arrived the next morning, promptly diagnosed the issue, and ordered the part needed to repair the control board in my refrigerator. He then contacted me a few days later when the part arrived, scheduled a quick appointment, and installed the new control board. My refrigerator is up and running and all is now right with the world again. I will definitely hire Sami again for any future repairs and HVAC maintenance issues. Thank you for great service!"

"Tech came out on Friday 11/22/24 at 6:00 which was after I was home from work. Quickly diagnosed problem and told me a dryer fuse had burned out. He came out the next day and repaired the dryer very quickly and cleaned up. Now I could have opted to replace just that fuse but he told me there were 3 fuses and the other fuses could go anytime as the dryer was at least 15 years old. It would have been cheaper just to replace the one fuse but i told him to replace all 3. That would have been penny wise & dollar foolish as if another fuse went that would have been another service call fee from that company or another plus the cost of parts & labor. I was also advised to have the dryer cleaned every 2 years which I will do. I'll probably look into how to do it myself as I am pretty handy and always looking to save money. It was a lot of money to pay for the repair at once but cheaper then a home warranty. I have had bad experiences with more then one home warranty company and have cancelled as a result. Also home warranty companies choose the service provider for you and I haven't been impressed with some of them. My advice to anyone paying a home warranty company every month would be to take that $60 or more you pay every month to them and put it in a savings account for emergency's including home appliance repair. Also on top of the monthly payment when you need them there is a service fee to pay before they come out."
