"A damaged tongue and groove hardwood piece was removed and replaced and entire floor area refinished. The original sanding when this floor was installed (not by Clark's) was not a quality job and Clark's craftsmen were able to bring it up to a much more acceptable level. Their "atomic dust free system" was amazing and well worth the extra money paid for the service. After completion of the job, even the walls in the room which were not covered were dust free. The refinishing job they performed matches other hardwood throughout the house and we are very pleased with the job."

"Excellent 5 Stars!! Half of my large living room hardwood floor was damaged by rising water from heavy rainstorms this last winter. The floor is a specialized type, tongue in groove oak planks with a custom surface treatment. Alameda was the ONLY contractor that understood how to repair the half of the floor that was damaged so it would match the other half, and the rest of the house. The other contractors did not, could not guarantee a match. They just wanted to replace the whole living room with something that would NOT match the rest of my house. My floor looks beautiful now. It was done on time, and for the price that I was originally quoted. I can't say enough nice things about Alameda Hardwood Floors. They have the expertise, the work ethic, the customer service, the communication, the talent and knowledge. A+++"

"Dom did a superb job on both carpet installation and hardwood floor refinishing. He was very responsive to our calls/texts and explained exactly what was to be done every step of the way. The owner of DG Flooring, Dom was on site each day, working diligently alongside or independent of his employees. His work was professional, thorough, and completed in a timely fashion (6 consecutive days). His focus was on our project alone, so he didn’t “disappear” to attend to some other project. He even requested to work, and we allowed, into the early evening and on the weekend in order to complete the project by the agreed upon deadline. He was very accommodating to our needs, trying as much as possible not to create any inconveniences. He and his crew were very respectful and very hard working. His pricing was reasonable and came in as he had estimated. He moved furniture at no additional cost. He also did other related work, I.e., he removed a pony wall, moved an outlet, and retextured and painted a wall. He and his crew cleaned up nicely at each day’s end. His work is of high quality and he wouldn’t declare any part of the job finished until it met his own high expectations. My only complaint on the customer service side was that I was told I was to receive a discount upon signing, but never did. Quote was reasonable, but hate being lied too. The carpet material is very nice and the installers did a awesome job and cleaned up after nicely as well. I do recommend Empire for their timeliness and craftsmanship."
