"Absolutely fantastic!!! Locating someone who is honest and competent is difficult to find in HVAC - if I took the word of every tech that said "you have a cracked heat exchange", who scared tenants into believing that they were dying from poisonous gases, I would be out $35k in under 2 yrs. (One of those claims was not a cracked exchange but a wasp's nest.) I found Mike's name on Angie's List after I took over managing our family's residential and commercial properties, and after being lied to or being mislead by incompetent techs. Other than familiarity with HVAC as a homeowner, my experience was limited. Mike helped me navigate through my "on the job" exposure, beginning with identifying for me the unique/odd/old units in some of our apartment buildings that some techs had never seen before. Mike was the 4th company in a row that I called who didn't work on that type of unit. But he was the first that didn't charge me a service call, and the only one who could identify the type of unit it was and who could work on them. Since that time, Mike has been my most prized contact! He arrives on time, is respectful to our tenants and their homes, and he has never walked away from a job because he could make more money on another service call - we had another valued HVAC contact who went MIA, stringing me along, while a post-op tenant was enduring week long heat wave. When I called Mike, he was out the next day, and had it fixed in three hours. It was a tedious job, but he did it. As long as I am responsible for our buildings, he will be first on our call list!! I believe in honor and loyalty, and this company deserves mine!!!!!"

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Called them as A/C was not working. They came out and refreshed freon. that was $215 fee. Our A/C was old and we were advised that it may or may not last. We decided to get a new A/C as ours was 20 years old. They advised me of the different models that they work with and gave me a written estimate and let me choose. The.y also subtracted the cost of the freon from the installation cost of a new A/C. One thing that was very impressive was that they were very punctual and gave us estimated time to have work completed. We ran into many other vendors who could not seem to provide accurate information. My wife and I felt an immediate concern for our worries from Oscar. The new fixtures were both LED and had no idea that meant I would need to change out the dimmable light switches to LED as well. Daniel quickly isolated the issue and fixed both lights. "All jobs were completed with a large crew which for us meant in a timely manner.  Once started, the job was completed with no interruptions.  The weather was extremely hot but the crew worked long hours and seemed like a happy bunch.  The house was a fixer-upper and the roof and facia and gutters gave it an excellent "street appeal".  The workmanship was very good.  Chris chose the roof color which I appreciated because I had no idea what color would make an all white house look good.  The blue-gray was just right.  After I saw the work on one house, I had Chris do the windows on a second house and will have him do the siding and roof on the second house in the spring.  All-Star Installations gives great value in price, materials, and workmanship.  And Chris was a pleasure to work with.
