"I received A+ service from Granite Works. I met Bruno Valente, one of the co-owners, on my first visit. He was very friendly and helpful, not pushy like some sales people. The slab I liked the best was marked sold.  In a follow up discussion with Bruno, my brother found out that the sister to that slab was available. Bruno gave it a rating of 11 on a scale of 1 to 10, and he was right.  Bruno held the slab for a few days until I could get there. Purchased it that day, and he held it for 5 months at no charge. Many companies my brother called on my behalf would not hold a slab longer than 30 days.
When my brother was visiting from out of town, they were kind enough to bring it out of storage so that he could see it.  That day, we met Art Rivera who spent considerable time with me us and provided invaluable advice about a new counter I was adding.  He also provided other design suggestions on the backsplash and paint color, which I followed with great results. That was an extra bonus I didn't expect. So, if Art gives you advice, you should definitely take it.
The templater, Glauber (hope this is the correct spelling), was extremely detail oriented and communicated well with my carpenter and his assistant. He made a suggestion for the end cap of the new counter and the handrail behind it that made it a true work of
art.  Gus Valente (co-owner), with assistance from Eduardo (stone cutter), did a great job of deciding what parts of the stone would go where in my kitchen and fireplace.  They have an amazing eye. I was so impressed by their finding parts of the slab in totally different areas that would best connect at the seams. The installers were terrific and that process went very smoothly. I have 2 seams that are barely noticeable.  Their work in the kitchen and my fireplace surround was impeccable.
Granite Works exceeded my expectations, and I'm very picky.  My counters are a work of art.

Ronnie and Dave at Granite Vision were very friendly and helpful from the first time we walked in their store.  They have a wide range of colors to choose from and they let us spend a lot of time just walking around their warehouse looking, making just a few suggestions based on our price range and our kitchen setup (cabinets, wall color, etc).

The price above included the granite, as well as removal of our old countertops, new sink & faucet, and a plumber (which they can subcontract out or we could have used our own) to install the new sink and hook everything up.  In total, a comparable price to other estimates that we received.

I had to move the install day on them once - they were very flexible which was nice.  On the day of the install they showed up well within the window they gave me and did a great job.  Because of the shape of our counters they had to install the counters in two pieces with one seam, which you can't even tell unless you look closely.  The kitchen looks 100% better!

Service and product were first rate and I would definitely recommend them!

"My home is about 20 years old and the kitchen has granite countertops and two of them had minor scratches and two others needed minor repairs. Vincente's price given for the scope of work is similar or slightly less, but as more cracks were found in the granite countertop, he asked for $180 more. He came home and gave me an estimate, he also came on time when he said he would come and he finished the job on time. He and his assistant, lined all the work areas with plastic so that dust won't fall on them. He also put sheets on the floor where the work was conducted. Vincente repaired the stone at a few places (using the resin and stone chip color), polished, and sealed about 6 small areas in the kitchen where granite countertops were affected and he also polished and sealed all areas for the granite countertops in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this company but make sure you agree on the price upfront and define the scope of work upfront. Thanks to Angie for providing the name of two top-notch companies for repairing the granite stones. Vincente agreed to come and do the job within 3 days of the estimate given and he did a marvelous job. Thanks."

"V & C was very courteous on the phone and in person.  They did an excellent job of making sure that everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction.  They arrived when they said they would and finished in a very timely.  They completed several minor repairs as well as removing  totally useless gutter covers I had installed many years ago.  I will happily hire them again!"

"Our experience with KBR was excellent. We started the renovation process by contacting multiple companies for quotes and designs. KBR was very prompt in response. KBR was always courteous and available at the agreed meeting times. Fatih, our designer, worked with us over multiple visits to help us design the new kitchen and pick out the cabinets, countertops, and hardware. Over a couple of weeks and several meetings, we were able to finalize the layout, cabinetry, countertops and outlets. The final design was set in a walkthrough at our townhouse with Fatih, Adam, the project manager, and Francisco, the technician. The on-site contractors were very courteous and tried extremely hard to keep our house reasonably clean. KBR lined the floors in the kitchen to protect our existing hardwood floor and lined the carpeted stairs from our ground floor to the second floor kitchen. The quality of the final renovation was excellent. As we discovered issues, Fatih, Adam and Francisco were readily available and helpful in resolving these issues. In the end, each issue was resolved to our satisfaction. The project was complete ahead of schedule. Despite the unanticipated issues, KBR was timely, efficient and professional. Furthermore, KBR paid attention to every last detail, including the final repaint of the entire kitchen. "Step 1: The Estimate. Our experience with Home Design Center and Flooring was excellent from start to finish. When we called them for an estimate, Mr. Nafi was very patient and addressed all of our questions and concerns thoroughly. He was very knowledgeable and made recommendations that ultimately became our "favorite" part of the end result. Step 2: The Decision: I also appreciated the fact that he was not pushy and the experience was more like talking through the pros and cons of going ahead with the project with a family member. The worst thing in my mind, is to deal with a contractor that is just pushing to close the sale. We asked that he allow us to sit on our decision for a couple of days. He extended us that courtesy - without any pressure. Within two days, we had weighed our options and decided to proceed with our project. Step 3. The Project: The Project was smooth - on time, within budget and to our SATISFACTION!! Home Design Center and Flooring showed up on time each day, began on time and completed the project on time as scheduled. This was a big plus in our eyes. We are punctual and we see punctuality as an important element in a contractor. They showed up ready to work and accomplished a lot each day. I also appreciated the fact that at the end of each day - they went through an effort to clean up everything before they left. I have a young daughter and was very concerned about things like nails laying around. They were very neat. I am a neat freak by nature and I appreciated the fact that they took extra care about covering our furniture, etc. They were also very gracious and helped me move things around as I went into a spring cleaning mode as a result of this project. Our floors look beautiful, the staircases are tremendous and we are so thrilled that we decided to go ahead with the project. Home Design Center and Flooring made the experience wonderful, did an excellent job and delivered on all of their promises. We will definitely be using them in the future for any home improvement projects that we embark upon."
