"He was able to fix it but he said what I paid Angie's List did not cover what needed to be done. It was basically $99 down the drain, as it were. I had to pay an additional $250 for him to remove the toilet and pull out a brush that had gotten stuck there (probably by my summer renters). So the total cost $350. I could have bought and installed a new toilet for that amount. I was amazed at how much he charged me. He was very professional and skilled but too expensive for me next time. If you think it's something more than a standard check-up, I would not use Angie's List. This also happened to me with the carpet cleaners I had paid $45 for two rooms. "Build A Dream did a great transformation of my driveway removing old asphalt and installing pavers. Started Monday and by Wednesday we had a new great looking driveway. Workers were friendly and from start to finish rarely saw any of them standing around doing nothing. When driveway was completed they left everything nice clean.
