"In preparation for selling our home we hired Sanchez to paint the complete interior, which included quite a lot of old wallpaper in the kitchen and the master bathroom. They also painted the dated old brown oak kitchen cabinets to a more contemporary medium grey. Everything was going well, the house was empty, we had a lock box set up so the crew came and went each day with an anticipated 6 or 7 day completion for all the work we had requested. We left on a short trip and when we returned we realized that the living areas of the house that were suppose to be painted a light grey, were not that color at all. Jay responded to my panicked phone call, came immediately and 2 days later the paint was fixed. Turns out that the paint company mixed the paint incorrectly. Even though the job took 2 extra days, Jay made it right and the crews that came out to paint were great, they let us work around them to do what we needed to do at the same time. The reviews we are getting now that the house is on the market are all positive, very nice, cozy, light, well maintained."

In addition to replacing the tiles, he fixed other tiles that were previously repaired by another company. He was efficient and did an awesome job. "Tom Cohen and Joe Sapir were great. They went through the possibilities and options with us, including what we could do with our budget and possibilities for financing. We bought our house as part of a repossessed hillside property, and we had to buy it in "as is" condition with decades of deferred maintenance. We had chipped away at fixing up the interiors over the past ten years, and were ready for a major (and long overdue) overhaul of the exteriors. The house is 1,200 square feet, but the garage is basically two stories with the living area on the third floor. That means a lot of stucco to repair and a lot of surface to paint. We needed new windows to replace the 50-year old ones that were original with the house, along with a new front door and sliding glass door in the back. This included expanding the size of the windows so that they were bigger (and actually up to code). The insulation in the attic was very old and needed to be replaced as well. Our garage door was dented (by a previous owner) and needed to be replaced along with the motor. Our back porch was falling apart, and we needed that repaired and painted. Our back yard had little privacy and was too hot to spend much time in for most of the year, so we also had them put in a large alumawood patio cover that extends over the porch and most of the yard (to the edge of our garden). It was important to us not to just pick a "low bid" contractor and instead to get a company that would do the work with high-quality materials and skilled crews with proper insurance and quality guarantees. We wanted this to be the last major overhaul we have to do on the exteriors of this house. The crews that came to do all of the work were very skilled, and worked with us to make sure they were doing exactly the work we wanted. Each phase of the project went quickly and efficiently, with prompt inspections and "touch-ups" afterwards to make sure everything was done well. Tom and Joe were very responsive and communicated well with us throughout the projects. We are very happy with the work, and we got our money's worth."

"The project manager was a good salesman with the promise of a discounted price because another job had been canceled and they could start in two days, and I could take advantage of the insurance and bond already having been paid. He inferred he didn't want to lose it. Although I knew that probably wasn't true, as all big companies have insurance and workman's comp in place, I wanted my deck done quickly and my next estimator could not come out for two weeks. Although the salesman claimed I was getting a good deal, the contract seemed a bit high, and sales tax added. I have never had sales tax added separately on this type of work. They did not demolish all the brick work as in the contract. They tried to use untreated wood under the deck which I was specific that was why the old deck needed to be replaced. Luckily, we caught that. The job was done quickly and clean up was nominal; however, I have found the concrete base of the demolished brick work was just covered with dirt and it still remains."
