They came out for an estimate the day after we called and were the cheapest of 3 estimates we had. They started the next day. Then they did not work 2 days due to rain, and did not work the weekend because they do not work weekends. "The two techs were on time and ready to help. It was in VERY cold day with high winds. Our property is an historic state owned property with many additions. Our handy man had just thawed out the pipes, but he was unable to access the pipes to insulate them. The slender tech shimmied through an 18" crawl space entry and insulated the pipes and pointed out that there were two significant places of air infiltration. We had some old insulation and he installed that for us as well. He noted another smaller point of cold air infiltration and suggested that that space be closed from the outside. It was a break in the mortar around the stone foundation. Because of the nature of this property, he suggested that this space be filled by our staff. <br /> We need to get approval for many alterations.
