"Thought we needed a complete door replacement, but Alamo Garage Doors provided an honest assessment that only the opener needed upgrading."

"The company contacted me within minutes of posting the project and scheduled a service call within 2 hours. The technicians determined the problem was in the door sensors and replaced them within an hour. The whole project was done on the same day. Excellent!"

"I called and was scheduled an appointment within 2 days; great! My technician Cameron was absolutely OUTSTANDING! He quoted me prior to any work, explained in detailed the issue, provided a walkthrough of what he would do to remedy the problem and then fixed it.... that day. This included the replacement of a 10-12 foot bar I assumed would require me to make another appointment for him to replace. No, he came prepared with all tools and parts needed to complete the job without a repeat visit! Job WELL DONE A++! I felt secure leaving him unattended in the garage to finish the work and when I walked into the garage I always found him working, not on his phone like other repairmen I have had. Cameron was professional and courteous. He was not annoyed that I asked questions and even made suggestions about future repairs that I could make to avoid costly ones later down the road, like preventative maintenance. I have no idea if this is company training or just a good technician. Judging by the rating other customers have given though I can safely assume this is mostly good hiring techniques and training in combination with a great tech. My only regret is I did not call them sooner and that they do not build storage sheds. I will be recommending this company, specifically Cameron, to anyone needing garage door installation or repairs. I hope they let me know if they build storage sheds in the future and other honey-do stuff I was tasked with by the wife"

"Spring above the garage door broke and tore the top panel aluminum. Russell order the exact top panel. He installed the new spring and top panel in less than 2 hours and the entire messed was cleaned up too. The garage door works great and is much quieter than it was. Thanks Russell!"

"Installed a new garage door opener?smooth, quiet, and perfectly done. Great experience!"

"He showed up when they said he would be there and replaced my garage door opener. He did a great job and was very friendly. Appreciate that they kept the appointment time and actually showed up."

"Fast, friendly and professional service."

"My garage door was installed by Overhead within the past year. Overall they did a decent job except they installed the rail/springs on a 2x4 nailed into the wall. Over time it came loose and pulled the 2x4 out of the wall while I was closing it. I emailed to see if they would fix it. I was informed that the repair would cost me $100. They said the "part" (2x4) that came loose was part of the original home and was not covered under warrantee. I asked why the 2x4 wasn't replaced with something better or at least screwed down during install. They said it wasn't needed. I wasn't going to pay them to fix their own install deficiency so I'm someone else's customer now. They had their chance to make it right."

"Knew what he was doing and fixed the problem the first time around."
