"You know that old expression..."I gotta guy"...when you ask a friend if they know anyone that does some specific work you need done?  Well let me tell you....I've gotta tree service company for you!  I found A&J Tree Service right here in Angie's List.  They were actually the second company I called to come out to give me an estimate to do the work I needed to have done.  The first guy I called came out and I thought he was either on drugs or alcohol, I wasn't sure which.  The main job I needed done was to remove some major roots from a large Camphor tree that was pushing on the common area fencing at the rear of our lot. The first guy gave me every reason he could think of that would prevent him from being able to remove those heavy thick roots.  I decided to cut the session short and told him if he could not do the most pressing task on my list there wasn't much sense in him taking the time to review the other tree trimming items.  I wanted to hire someone that could do everything I needed done and not partial the job out to multiple companies.   <br> <br>After that disappointment I went back to Angie's List to find another tree service company.  After a more thorough review of the available companies I found and called A&J Tree Service.  This company is owned and operated by a father and son team.  The son being a college educated horticulturist.   Basically, I called, they responded and I was completely and totally satisfied with every aspect of the job they did for me.  The father came out to review what I needed to have done.  He looked things over regarding the removal of the large roots growing against the common area fence, determined in about two minutes what he needed to do to remove the fence to get his root/stump cutter machine into place to cut the roots out. No muss no fuss, no hem-hawing around as to why he couldn't do the job, just straight forward experience and common sense on display.  Refreshing!   So, father, son and two very experienced tree trimmers came out on a Saturday morning, on time and ready to go to work.  They removed the fencing necessary to get to the Camphor tree, got their root grinder in place and removed those large and aggressive roots.  It took some manual labor as well to get that portion of the job done and father and son handled that themselves while their two workman worked on the tree trimming portion of the job in other parts of our lot.  They put the fencing back in place and you would never guess it had been removed.  These guys know what they are doing and just get the job done.   <br> <br>The tree trimming portion of the job was performed with skill and artistry.  I still haven't figured out how you can be in the middle of a tree and know where to cut limbs to get the shape you are trying to achieve.  I guess that is where experience comes into play.   To sum it all up, I could not have been more pleased!  They were prompt, reasonably priced, experts at what they do, well equipped with modern equipment, and this father and son team are just plain old fashioned genuine good people.  And when they left the yard was cleaned up as though they had never been there.  Perfect!  Bravo!  <br> <br>Now you know what I mean when I say...."I gotta guy (team)" for you.   If you need trees trimmed, roots cut out, stumps removed.....call A&J Tree Service!  Tell them Rick from North Irvine sent you.  I will never call anyone else now that I know who they are and I will be pushing my kids, neighbors and friends to do the same.   All the best!  <br> <br> <br>"

"He arrived and I explained what was needed and he gave a reasonable quote which was also the final price. In a few days he returned at the time on which we agreed. He did a very professional job and used very good equipment to install the drip system. His work with the cactus and tree trimming also pleased me. I have waited six weeks to write this review because I wanted to make sure everything worked. It does and I am very pleased."

"I called Martin from Angie's list and he was very prompt in coming for an estimate. He's very reasonable and competitive and was able to set up a time if I was interested in hiring him. I was looking at other gardeners and prices and decided to go with Martin. He will be charging me 60.00 per month and will b cutting my lawn every two weeks. I am pleased with his work so far."

"This place is a rock star contractor. Best contractor I have worked with in 20 years. That is said with being a property manager for the last 20 years and I can safely say Seth is the best contractor and best crew I have worked with compared to any contractors. Just completed a 2nd job with same results. Again in 2017 at another property a new patio pour, and a full new front yard, sod, sprinklers, lights, and plants. all went 100% well again."

"They're a company that finds gardeners in the area. I have somebody that comes every Wednesday. Anything I want done, I contact him at Landscape Locators. He calls specific gardeners and then gives me a price. I pay them. I have some plants and trees and things like that which cost me a little bit more. They're great. I did't ask for a specific time. I chose the gardener that I could give a key in case I'm not here. They are definitely trustworthy."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Lytle-creek, CA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
