"Now that my husband has advanced ALS, he is no longer able to sleep in our upstairs master bedroom. The VA SAH grant which my husband was awarded allowed us to extend a small downstairs office space into the garage, to make him him a comfortable, bedroom built to both ADA and VA standards. An addition was built on to the existing home to provide him with a fully equipped handicapped bathroom which meets ADA/VA standards. Modifications were also made to the garage, deck, several doorways, and outside gate to provide adequate egress/ingress for my husband's power wheelchair. The project included removing our deck, raising the ground, and laying new pavers to create a deck flush to exit doorways. Kenny Reinhardt's estimate was the low bid for the project. I hesitated until I understood that his low overhead expenses allowed him to submit a competitive bid and still make a profit. The project came in within budget and I was never asked to accept a lesser product/spec than I desired in order to meet budget. Kenny Reinhardt's goal is to exceed the customer's expectations; in his own words "make her happy". His workmanship is of the highest quality. "We were advised that entire project would take four to five days to complete. Project began on August 21 and was completed on October 10. Don did a great job installing the granite shower and vanity sink. However, Granite Transformation has different vendors for the other jobs, i.e. shower door installation, cabinet refacing, plumbing and we had to hire our own electrician to install a light sold to us by GT. Some of their vendors were late for their appointments for measuring and other prelimary work. The GT office never contacted us to set up any appointments. I had to call to find out what the schedule was. The problems on the job included the plumber coming back to fix leaks caused by improper installation, wrong cabinet doors being sent by supplier and GT ordering wrong fixtures. The major problem that we experienced was Gratine Transformation was their failure to see that the job was done within a reasonable time. Their handling of our project was haphazard and lackadasical. We are pleased with the results but it took a long time to get all aspects of the project completed. Sometimes it seemed like the right hand didn’t know what the left was doing or just didn’t care."

They told us that the floor we had was very good quality and that they could restore its beauty with a process, so we didn't have to change the entire floor. Save a lot of money there. To be honest, I was not convinced at the beginning because I wanted another color, but I agreed. The process was incredible fast and clean. Took about a week to have them done. I do not not anything about the middle, but floors came out fruitful. I never thought they could look like that. Amazing, I just love them so much now. "She was fine. We were working long distance and communication took place via phone and email. I would not ever hire someone long distance again for design work unless I see something on their website that is exactly what I like. She was very responsive though and she provided us with pictures of sample furniture and physical designs. I gave her a 'B' because she didn’t take a lot of time to customize the plan to our style. I expected her to adapt to our style, but instead she tried to make our living room fit her style. She seems to have a look that is her style and we actually asked her re-do the plan a few times before we got something usable. In the end, she is very good at what she does and she is very professional, but her design style doesn’t fit our way of living."
