He did everything I asked (and the carpets seemed to look a bit better for a while), but at some point, the stain spots reappeared. <br /> Anyway, I probably should have just replaced the carpets but thought that a thorough cleaning might be a less expensive route. Lesson learned...some stains just aren't able to be removed and I should have bit the bullet and bought instead of cleaned. The price seemed quite high but I felt it would have been worth it if they had been able to remove the stains and extend the life of the carpeting. "The owner helped us with understanding this new ionizer technology and had to be contacted again about placing them in a better place in the HVAC system to increase ion output into the living space.  The ionizers are a bit pricey for such small units.  They help to kill germs in the home and remove new house construction VOCS, but we were disappointed that they did not remove all of the fumes. One email was not returned, but overall we had a good experience."
