We provided most of the materials, except for specific items they needed. We initially hired them to renovate 2 bathrooms, but when we realized how knowledgeable Jeff was, we had him work on other projects as well. When you hire this team, you get it all. They can do the plumbing, tile work, electrical work, etc and you don't need to hire more contractors. That's a HUGE bonus! They were very respectful of our home, and protected our wood floors and carpet with high quality materials for the entire time they were working on the house. They are VERY clean and always made sure they vacuumed and cleaned the area before they left for the day. Plus, we didn't need to get a dumpster like other contractors asked for. They were able to get the job done well without constant phone calls asking questions. Only when really necessary did Jeff text me, which was my preferred form of communication. Other than that, they quietly did their work without fuss. They know what they're doing, and do it well. They completed the projects when promised and their prices were really great too. "Matt and I discussed the potential work over the phone, and he was able to give me an accurate estimate of cost, so I gave him the go-ahead to do the work.  He arrived on time with an assistant and got started right away.  In all, the work to strip and finish the tub took about 4 hours, as Matt told me to expect.  I believe drying time was 24 hours.
The results are terrific.  The tub looks good as new - shiny and bright  As an added bonus, the bottom of the tub is textured, meaning I no longer have to mess with a plastic bathmat. 
The tub is original to the home and, over time, the stopper in the drain disappeared.  I bought the home several years ago and have had to use a rubber stopper in order to fill the tub.  You know the know kind...a white rubber stopper complete with a chain.  Matt turned me onto a company who sell a cool fix for that problem.  I ordered a new drain, in the finish of my choice, that glued right on top of the existing drain (with a built in adhesive) including an integrated pop-up stopper and a strainer.  I bought a 2 piece set that included an overflow to match the drain and the total cost was around $50.  Thanks for that tip Matt!

"We own a condo in Lincoln Park in a very old building. They came to unclog a drain and discovered there was a broken pipe.  The concern was how far down the break was and if it was outside of our unit.  We were able to get access to the unit below, coordinating with J. Blanton, my tenant and the owner of the unit below. We did have to cut a hole in the wall.  The issue was contained to our unit and the hole in the wall was relatively small.  Plumbers were responsive and professional.  I highly recommend J.
