"We are so pleased with how our sun porch turned out. Our sun porch had some very old walls and planking that needed to be removed, and rebuilt due to their age. Locklear Construction gave us suggestions on what materials to use to help keep with the character and charm of the house (as it is an older home), and would stand up to the harsh weather of the Outer Banks. This work also required residing the outside of the sun porch area and patio areas as well with new red cedar shingles. In addition, we also had 2 old windows in our patio area that needed to be replaced as well. Everything that was done exceeded our expectations on every level, and we would absolutely use Locklear Construction again for any remodeling jobs, and would highly recommend them! Friends that have seen the sun porch and patio have also complimented on how nice it turned out!"

"Very straightforward. Salesperson/designer made an appointment (we called), came out, worked with my wife to understand our specific requirements and design a system that would meet them. I removed old shelving in advance of the installation so that I could patch holes and paint over them; they could have removed the shelving and done patching, but I don't believe the result wouldn't have had quite the same finished look (no time for drying, sanding, painting). Installation was scheduled about 2 weeks after original design meeting, just the right timing for us. On the day of installation, they were delayed an hour or so by a truck problem, but sent extra installation people so that completion of the work would not be delayed. Crew was very professional, made some minor adjustments to deal with non-square closet walls, and did an excellent job overall. We are quite pleased with the results."

"Roof Genie inspected our roof and determined that we had significant hail damage. They contacted our insurance company, filed all the necessary paperwork, met with the adjustor and then completed the work. We were shown several samples but they were not exactly what we wanted. They kept finding samples for us to view until we found one we liked. They never rushed us, or pressured us in anyway. They were very responsive to our needs and treated us with up most respect and professionalism. The crew was very professional and efficient. They worked tirelessly without stopping, took great care with our house, lawn and landscaping. They kept the work site very clean and orderly and when they were done you would not know they had been there. <br />"

The railings were not installed correctly in fact it was a safety issue - if leaned on one could possibly knock it over. Called several times requesting him to repair, made false promises. To correct the problem we hired someone else to correct the job. <br />"
