"We spent 14K on two new AC units for our house in 2021. We had to get the technicians out almost every year and multiples a year because something is always wrong. Some technicians were not experienced enough to diagnose the problem and wasted hours at our house. They also made careless mistakes (not connecting the draining pipe back in the attack) in Aug 2025. We had to run very loud fans for 5 days just to dry the water leak from the attic to our ceiling. The same technician was sent out in Nov 2025 and made the same mistake again. Now our ceiling is leaking again. The customer service did not even acknowledge or apologize for what we are going through. I am now worried that repeated leak may have caused permanent damage to our house. I do not recommend this company."

Then he said they would have to replace my pipes and tear up my house which would cost over $3000 to repair. He took my $318. And told me it would go towards the repairs. I got a second opinion and they were able to unclog my tub drain for $420. And it?s working great WITHOUT having to tear up my house. I?ll probably never see the $318. They took for nothing. I reached out after seeing their TV commercial promoting clogged sink service for “about $69.” What I quickly discovered is that this advertised rate applies to an extremely narrow and unadvertised category of sinks that almost no real-world situation meets. My straightforward, less-than-20-minute fix was quoted at over $600 to snake. This is an outrageous markup for such a basic job. As a former small business owner, I find these tactics troubling. This is a textbook example of bait-and-switch advertising — grabbing attention with a low price, then upselling with inflated charges once the customer is committed. Practices like this harm consumers and tarnish the reputation of the many honest, hardworking service providers in our community. Shame on you, John Moore Services. My strong recommendation: Do Not Use."

"The team removing the old windows did a very good job of not damaging anything around them and the new windows were installed perfectly. There was a sizing issue from the manufacturer, but it was quickly resolved and I’m very satisfied with the level of communication from the contractor. The install team also was very respectful towards me and my time, and also the animals in the house, making sure the dust would not be an issue for them. I would definitely recommend."
